I voted [name]Constance[/name]. It’s one of my favourite names, it’s so beautiful and dignified and sounds perfect with [name]Stanton[/name]. [name]Constance[/name] [name]London[/name] is a combo I can totally get behind.
[name]Jane[/name] [name]London[/name] still makes me think of [name]Jane[/name] [name]Grey[/name] and her imprisonment (and execution) in The [name]Tower[/name] of [name]London[/name].
[name]Catherine[/name] [name]Jane[/name] is pretty, but I honestly don’t think it’s as good a match for [name]Stanton[/name] as [name]Constance[/name].
Good luck!
I voted for [name]Constance[/name] [name]London[/name], but [name]Catherine[/name] [name]Jane[/name] was a very close second. [name]Constance[/name] is more unusual, and it would have the middle name [name]London[/name], which you want, so I chose [name]Constance[/name] over [name]Catherine[/name]. The only problem I see with the sibset [name]Stanton[/name] and [name]Constance[/name] is that they are almost mirror images: [name]STAN[/name]-ton, con-STANCE. But that could be seen as very cute, and besides, you plan to call her [name]Kit[/name].
Congratulations and best wishes!
[name]Jane[/name] [name]London[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] is so pretty. [name]Catherine[/name] [name]Jane[/name] doesn’t stand out like [name]Stanton[/name] [name]Benedict[/name], and the [name]STANton[/name]-[name]ConSTANce[/name] thing bothers me.
I voted for [name]Jane[/name] [name]London[/name]. I love [name]Jane[/name], it’s a wonderful name.
[name]Constance[/name] (nn [name]Kit[/name]) [name]London[/name] is wonderful for you. You get an uncommon name, cute nn, and family significance. I really hope you use it!
[name]Jane[/name] [name]London[/name] sounds too much like [name]Jack[/name] [name]London[/name] to me and, while [name]Catherine[/name] [name]Jane[/name] is beautiful, it doesn’t have the same unexpected quality that [name]Constance[/name] has. I also far prefer [name]Kit[/name] to [name]Katie[/name] [name]Jane[/name] as a nn.
Otille mentioned dignified when describing [name]Constance[/name], which is the reason it made it to the finals list. Unfortunately, it is very close to [name]Stanton[/name]'s name in sound, yet we still love it! We love [name]Catherine[/name] [name]Jane[/name] as much to be honest and [name]Jane[/name] [name]London[/name] is just as dear! This is why we value your opinions so much. We look forward to reviewing the poll daily! My heart is torn!
I voted [name]Constance[/name]. [name]Stanton[/name] is such a strong and stand-out name, that I just think [name]Jane[/name] and [name]Catherine[/name] pale in comparison to it…whereas [name]Constance[/name] really holds its own along side it!
I don’t think it sounds too similar to [name]Stanton[/name] at all, and it works so perfectly with [name]London[/name] as a mn.
I just read in another post that you’re related to [name]Jack[/name] [name]London[/name] - how interesting! That definitely makes my previous comment void. I think I’m now torn between [name]Constance[/name] [name]London[/name] and [name]Catherine[/name] [name]Jane[/name] [name]London[/name] (which isn’t an option up here). I really like the idea of [name]Stanton[/name] and [name]Kit[/name] as siblings!
I’m torn too raptreverie! This is our issue. We love the distinctness of [name]Constance[/name] but our hearts keep leading us to [name]Catherine[/name] [name]Jane[/name]/[name]Catherine[/name] [name]London[/name]/ or [name]Catherine[/name] [name]Jane[/name] [name]London[/name]. Our last name is pronounced Cha-cow-ski which is a complicated last name to begin with! My grandmother would be proud if we continued the tradition of [name]London[/name] in the family. I just wasn’t sure which way to go with those names! [name]Stanton[/name] is a strong name, so which one truly walks along side of him?
I still have to vote for [name]Catherine[/name] [name]Jane[/name] or [name]Catherine[/name] [name]London[/name]… with your last name, [name]Constance[/name] seems very tongue-twistery for me. Also, for whatever reason, [name]Constance[/name] sounds so nasally to me. [name]Catherine[/name] [name]Jane[/name] [name]London[/name] is my vote.
I’m still stuck on [name]Jane[/name] [name]London[/name]. Timeless lovely solid and I think a non-C name makes the full name less of a mouthful (I have a long ski name to contend with myself, haha)
I love the [name]London[/name] family name as middle name! I think [name]Catherine[/name] [name]Jane[/name] [name]London[/name] C***** would be lovely. If you don’t want to do two middles, I would say just go for [name]Catherine[/name] [name]London[/name] C******* and call her “[name]Kit[/name],” as your heart is obviously telling you! All the best in this exciting time!
After just reading about your being related to [name]Jack[/name] [name]London[/name], now I’m gonna say you HAVE to use [name]London[/name], which I already wanted you to, anyway! I agree that [name]Stanton[/name] is a strong, stand-out name, however, I am of the opinion that within a sibset, boys’ and girls’ can have slightly different styles if they still have the same tone. ([name]Hope[/name] that makes sense?)
All that being said… I think that [name]Jane[/name] and [name]Catherine[/name] are both rather strong names, though obviously more common than [name]Constance[/name]. Any of them will work with [name]Stanton[/name]. I agree with posters above saying that “[name]Stanton[/name] and [name]Kit[/name]” would be a great sibset! I love [name]Kit[/name] (and [name]Kitty[/name]!) for nicknames for [name]Catherine[/name].
I do feel compelled to use [name]London[/name] if not a double first name (i.e. [name]Jane[/name] [name]London[/name]) then her middle name (i.e [name]Catherine[/name] [name]London[/name]) due to our family’s relation. It’s a difficult decision, which is why I continue to read your opinions! Thank you for your continued support! You continue to help me view this difficult decision from various perspectives!
Difficult to go against family tradition and not using [name]London[/name]. I do love the name regardless and my husband loves the sound of [name]Catherine[/name] [name]Jane[/name]. [name]Will[/name] there be too many other Catherines in her class? Should we just call her [name]Kit[/name] or [name]Katie[/name] [name]Jane[/name] at the beginning? I still love [name]Constance[/name] and that would solve the problem if popularity!
[name]Catherine[/name] [name]Jane[/name]… Should this be a double first name or with [name]Jane[/name] as the middle name? [name]How[/name] to make [name]Catherine[/name] more unique yet maintain it classic regal appeal?
[name]Constance[/name] is my favorite first name, but I prefer it with [name]Elizabeth[/name] or [name]Jane[/name] as the middle name.
You say your grandma would be proud if you continued the [name]London[/name] tradition in your family, but do YOU like it? And your husband? I just think it sounds a lot more modern (especially on a girl) than your more classic first names.
I love [name]Catherine[/name] [name]Jane[/name] [name]London[/name]! It sounds so royal! This will be a very strong name for a strong young lady! Congratulations!
I do love [name]Catherine[/name] [name]Jane[/name] [name]London[/name] as well. She would have 2 middle names then. I believe this makes [name]Catherine[/name] extremely strong of a girl’s name. I still wrestle having 2 first names due to the popularity of [name]Catherine[/name]. I came across the name [name]Camille[/name] this evening.
[name]Camille[/name] [name]London[/name] vs [name]Catherine[/name] [name]Jane[/name] vs [name]Catherine[/name] [name]London[/name]?
