Hutton?

I came across this name at my daughter [name]Lucy[/name]'s summer camp. [name]One[/name] of the boys there is named Hutton. It reminded me of a name I like [name]Sutton[/name] (unisex) but I actually kind of like Hutton. They call him “Hutt” and it reminds me of [name]Hudson[/name] nn Hud but a less harsh sound. It’s also not made up. It means settlement. Thoughts?

I like it. I reminds me of [name]Tim[/name] Hutton (actor), so that’s a pleasant name association. I’m not much for the nn Hutt, though.

I can’t say it floats my boat very much, but it would be unusual and people could pronounce it fine (a hard combination to come by). There’s a Hut’s burger place in my hometown so that’s my immediate association.

I agree! I love Hutton, but Hutt…not so much

Oooh…I like Hutton. Its very unusual yet has a familiar sound. Pretty awesome with the nn Hutt.
