We did the one that sounded better, which ended up being hisname-myname. We both hyphenated our names when we got married because we wanted to have the same name, but neither of us wanted to give our name up.
I like [name_m]Anderson[/name_m]-[name_m]Budd[/name_m] better. I know someone with a hyphenated last name and the names happen to be the same amount of syllables, in that order (the first last name ends in -son too) and I always thought it had a nice flow to it. I just think saying the one-syllable name first makes it sound a little choppy.
[name_m]Anderson[/name_m] - [name_m]Budd[/name_m] sounds better to me. I like it. Sorry i did not vote. The functions on my account are variable.
Honestly, if you already have a child, I would give the new one the same last name as your child. Unless they have different fathers.
