Did anyone name their daughter a hyphenated first name? If so, what is it?
I am strongly considering Esme-Rose Evangeline or Esme Rose Evangeline. I feel like without the hyphen people might think she has Rose as a middle name but I really want to make Rose as part of the first name.
I know an [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]-[name_f]Mae[/name_f], a [name_f]Lola[/name_f]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f], a [name_f]Betsey[/name_f]-[name_f]Isla[/name_f] and an [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]-[name_f]Chloe[/name_f]!
Esme-[name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] sounds beautiful! I like [name_f]Rose[/name_f] as the second part of a double name as it makes the whole name more floral…
My best friends daughter is [name_u]Peyton[/name_u]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f]
I know a few people who have given their children hyphenated first names I know a
[name_f]Mia[/name_f]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Carla[/name_f]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Sarah[/name_f]-[name_f]Jane[/name_f], [name_f]Anna[/name_f]-[name_u]Leigh[/name_u], [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]-[name_f]Mae[/name_f], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]-[name_f]Grace[/name_f] & a [name_f]Lily[/name_f]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f]. I think hyphenated first names are very popular and if you want [name_f]Esme[/name_f]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f] go for it.
I know numerous older [name_f]Mary[/name_f]-Anns, a [name_u]Jean[/name_u]-[name_m]Paul[/name_m], and I knew [name_f]Debbie[/name_f]-[name_u]Lynn[/name_u].
If you want to make sure there’s no confusion, go for it.
I know a [name_f]Poppy[/name_f]-[name_f]Jane[/name_f]! I think if you want [name_f]Rose[/name_f] as part of her first name, you should definitely go for it with the hyphen! [name_f]Esme[/name_f]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f] is adorable
I know several [name_f]Mary[/name_f]-Kates, [name_f]Mary[/name_f]-Alices, [name_u]Anne[/name_u]-Leighs, [name_f]Mary[/name_f]-Beths, etc. and a few girls with double barreled names with something more traditionally feminine in the first spot and more masculine in the second as honor names: [name_u]Anne[/name_u]-Gr3g0ry, [name_u]Anne[/name_u]-Ryl@nd, N@ncy-Gr@y. If you like the hyphen, then use it!
I adore [name_f]Esme[/name_f]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] for it’s uniqueness and elegance! In my head, it flows a little smoother than [name_f]Esme[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]. But both are absolutely stunning
It’s not that common where I live. I only know one lady with a hyphenated name, [name_u]Kari[/name_u]-[name_f]Ann[/name_f]. I’m not a huge fan of them but [name_f]Esme[/name_f]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] is beautiful!
I like [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Maud[/name_f], but I don’t like a hyphen in them. I also like [name_f]Bel[/name_f] [name_u]Adair[/name_u], [name_f]Maryellen[/name_f], [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], and [name_f]Suellen[/name_f].
