Hello everyone. I hate my first name. I always have. It is a fairly common but spelt weird and the older I get the more childish it sounds. I feel really disconnected from it and I want to change it, so Im going to! I can’t decide want I want my name to be, but I know I can’t deal with my name any more. Here are some I like. I would love to hear what kind of person you associate with the name, if you like it, suggestions, etc. I really appreciate it. Thank you!
[name_f]Layla[/name_f]
[name_f]Joanie[/name_f]
[name_f]Winona[/name_f]
[name_f]Elle[/name_f]
[name_f]Meadow[/name_f]- This is the meaning of my birth name.
[name_f]Lula[/name_f]
[name_u]Francis[/name_u]
[name_f]Uma[/name_f]
[name_f]Lacie[/name_f]

My favorites are [name_f]Winona[/name_f] (I associate it with [name_f]Winona[/name_f] [name_u]Ryder[/name_u], but that’s a really good association imo), [name_f]Lula[/name_f] (It sounds so sweet and fun), [name_f]Elle[/name_f] (A classic name imo, the nn [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] is a plus too), [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] (I love flower names and I associate this with [name_m]Little[/name_m] Women), and [name_f]Meadow[/name_f].

Hello! Nice list, from fav to least:
[name_f]Winona[/name_f], mature, elegant with a vintage charm, feels independent and badass to me because of [name_f]Winona[/name_f] [name_u]Ryder[/name_u]’s roles.
[name_f]Elle[/name_f], sweet and classy.
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f], upbeat and lovely.
[name_f]Layla[/name_f], love the sound, though prefer [name_f]Lila[/name_f].
[name_f]Meadow[/name_f], naturey name, beautiful imagery, what’s not to like.
[name_f]Uma[/name_f], uncommon sparky name, got a character.
[name_f]Joanie[/name_f], I have a thing for J names, spunky and cute.
[name_u]Francis[/name_u], nms, love [name_f]Frances[/name_f].
[name_f]Lula[/name_f], cute, but feels unsubstantial to me, would make a sweet nickname, prefer [name_f]Lola[/name_f].
[name_f]Lacie[/name_f], same as [name_f]Lula[/name_f].

Emileigh is my birth name. I dont like the weird spelling and I find it very plain and childish!! I am very free spirited and I want a name that really fits. I dont love [name_u]Ainsley[/name_u] just because of a girl I know… I really appreciate the feedback though
I see why you want to change it…why change the dainty -y to a -eigh?? Now seeing your birth name ended in and ee sound…I think [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] is the way to go. Also -y/-ie/-ey names do tend to give off that young, childish sound and guessing that you’re an adult, you probably want to put that behind you. [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] makes a lot of sense! I love it and it seems fitting with your wild and high spirited nature. [name_f]Margot[/name_f] and [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] are similar is you’re not really feeling [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] too much but I love all names
