I am crushing on these names, What do you think?

Girls:

[name]Cassia[/name]/[name]Calla[/name]: Which one do you like best?
[name]Elowen[/name]: It’s just so elegant.
[name]Willow[/name]: Pretty.
[name]Sparrow[/name]: It just seems so pretty. (middle)
[name]Josie[/name]: I really am crushing on this name.
[name]Fawn[/name]/[name]Dawn[/name]: I just love [name]Fawn[/name], but is [name]Dawn[/name] a bit dated? (middle)

Boys:

[name]Oak[/name]
[name]Forest[/name]

Not too sure about [name]Forest[/name], but I really like [name]Oak[/name]. (for a middle name.)

What do you think? [name]Do[/name] you have any suggestions?

Thank you!

~[name]Jasmine[/name]

P.S: What names are you crushing on?

Girls:

[name]Cassia[/name]/[name]Calla[/name]: [name]Cassia[/name], [name]Cassia[/name] [name]Cassia[/name]!!! I like both names, but there’s a classic quality to [name]Cassia[/name] that [name]Calla[/name] somewhat lacks. I also think that both pronunciations are fantastic.

[name]Elowen[/name]: Very melodic and also a new addition to my list.

[name]Willow[/name]: [name]Love[/name]! I love the image of the willow tree gently swaying in the wind.

[name]Sparrow[/name]: Naw, this one isn’t for me. As far as bird names go, the only one I really like is Kestrel, and the alrights are [name]Lark[/name] and [name]Wren[/name].

[name]Josie[/name]: I see the appeal, and while it is cute, it just reminds me of the full version [name]Josephine[/name], a name I’m personally not that fond of.

[name]Fawn[/name]/[name]Dawn[/name]: [name]Fawn[/name]…maybe, just maybe for the middle spot, but I don’t think it’ll work for a first name. [name]Dawn[/name], eh, it’s alright, but I’d rather see [name]Aurora[/name] or other day/evening-related names.

Boys:

[name]Oak[/name] - Pokemon! haha, sorry, but that really was my first thought. To me, it’s a little too unsubstantial as a full first name. Middle name…hmmm…I think it would really depend on that first name. [name]Ronan[/name] [name]Oak[/name], cute. [name]Gunnar[/name] [name]Oak[/name], nah. [name]Oakley[/name] is cute and might be better first name material, but possibly a little (too) feminine?

[name]Forest[/name] - Better than [name]Oak[/name], but heh, I can’t put my finger on what it is that keeps me from liking this name. It has all the qualities I look for in a boy name-classic, underused, a rough masculine feel to it- but I don’t know, it just doesn’t click for me.

Not too sure about [name]Forest[/name], but I really like [name]Oak[/name]. (for a middle name.)

Hmm, names I’m currently crushing on…
[name]Fiammetta[/name]
[name]Rialta[/name]
[name]Cassia[/name] (as always  )
[name]Indiana[/name] ‘[name]Indy[/name]’
[name]Rose[/name]

[name]Elowen[/name] is so elegant and flowy & hard to resist. I really enjoy it  x

Girls:

[name]Cassia[/name]/[name]Calla[/name]: I am not found of either.
[name]Elowen[/name]: I love this name. It is the best on your list.
[name]Willow[/name]: I like this name a lot and it has good nn potential
[name]Sparrow[/name]: not my style seems like ones is trying too hard to be creative
[name]Josie[/name]: great name with a few options. Would probably use [name]Josephine[/name] or [name]Josette[/name] and this as a nn
[name]Fawn[/name]/[name]Dawn[/name]: [name]Fawn[/name] sounds like a bimbo to me, [name]Dawn[/name] is okay but is often pronounced [name]Don[/name]

Boys:

[name]Oak[/name] - like for middle name
[name]Forest[/name] - like for first or middle name

[name]Cassia[/name]/[name]Calla[/name]: Definitely prefer [name]Calla[/name]. [name]Calla[/name] is a huge and unexpected name crush of mine as well  [name]Cassia[/name]'s also quite pretty and admittedly easier to say, but it doesn’t bowl me over.
[name]Elowen[/name]: Very soft and pretty. And even-looking if that makes sense. Celtic-esque names aren’t usually my cup of tea, but this is definitely a stand out in the category.
[name]Willow[/name]: I can see how some would like it, but it’s kind of boring and lost its lustre for me.
[name]Sparrow[/name]: Ooh yes! Gorgeous on a girl (on a boy no thanks). My guilty pleasure combo for this is [name]Sparrow[/name] [name]Josephine[/name].
[name]Josie[/name]: Normally hate it, but love love love the combo [name]Josie[/name] [name]Pearl[/name]. Actually, I’d file it under “used to hate, now warming towards”.
[name]Fawn[/name]/[name]Dawn[/name]: Yeah, a little dated  Sorry

[name]Oak[/name]/[name]Forest[/name]: Probably some of the best nature names out there for boys. [name]Both[/name] are very very handsome. I like [name]Oak[/name] better than [name]Forest[/name], but [name]Forest[/name] would be obviously more appropriate as a fn.

Overall, love your taste!

These are the crushes that I can think of right now. Some I’d legitimately consider, some are more “middle material” and some are just plain fantasyland gps:
Ellender, [name]Livia[/name], [name]Harlan[/name], [name]Albertine[/name], [name]Billie[/name], Salomé, Swan, [name]Agatha[/name], [name]Calvin[/name], [name]Margot[/name], [name]Ana[/name]ïs, [name]Wilder[/name], [name]Coral[/name], [name]Tate[/name], [name]Leif[/name], [name]Zara[/name], [name]Remus[/name]/[name]Remy[/name], [name]Berenice[/name], [name]Aubrey[/name], [name]Marine[/name], [name]Cy[/name], [name]Octavia[/name], Bjork, [name]Mazarine[/name], [name]Lucille[/name], [name]Melisande[/name], [name]Atlas[/name], [name]Balthasar[/name], [name]Susanna[/name], Ismérie, [name]Elizabeth[/name], [name]Cassius[/name], [name]Knox[/name], [name]Thorin[/name], [name]Kingsley[/name] & [name]Spring[/name] (middle, girl).

Girls:

[name]Cassia[/name]/[name]Calla[/name]: Can I just ask how you pronounce [name]Cassia[/name]? I always thought it was [name]Cash[/name]-ah. I really like both names. I think they’re very pretty. I’ve also been crushing on [name]Cassia[/name].
[name]Elowen[/name]: Very cute name. I like it.
[name]Willow[/name]: I like the name, but I wouldn’t use it because I hate how I pronounce it with my accent (and everyone around me will say it like I do)
[name]Sparrow[/name]: Not really my cup of tea. Reminds me of [name]Captain[/name] [name]Jack[/name] [name]Sparrow[/name], so I’d associate it more with being masculine.
[name]Josie[/name]: I’ve never liked this name, there was a really horrible girl that lived in my street called [name]Josie[/name]. So a bad association for me.
[name]Fawn[/name]/[name]Dawn[/name]: Not a big fan of either of these sorry!

Boys:

[name]Oak[/name]: I’m not a huge fan of nature names on boys, but it’s very strong and masculine and I think it could work as a MN.
[name]Forest[/name]: Meh, not a big fan sorry.

My mom’s name is [name]Dawn[/name], and it’s been somewhat on and off my list for the same reason that it’s a tad bit dated. But I also tend to like the names that a million other people wont use. But I see the name [name]Dawn[/name] as a very fresh first name and would love to see some kids with this name. Good [name]Luck[/name]!

[name]Cassia[/name]/[name]Calla[/name]: [name]Cassia[/name]. I like both of them, except [name]Calla[/name] seems a bit [name]Lion[/name] [name]King[/name] to me (sounds like [name]Nala[/name]), unless I’m pronouncing it wrong.
[name]Elowen[/name]- I have mixed feelings about this name.
[name]Willow[/name]- despite the popularity of this name on name berry, I don’t like it and never have.
[name]Sparrow[/name]- I agree that it’s a great middle name.
[name]Josie[/name]- My friend’s sister has a sister named [name]Jocelyn[/name] who goes by [name]Josie[/name]. I wouldn’t use it just because I know someone with this name.
[name]Fawn[/name]/[name]Dawn[/name]- I really don’t like [name]Dawn[/name]. [name]Fawn[/name] is alright but definitely not a [name]Cassia[/name].

[name]Oak[/name]-Like tay2thestars said, it would depend on the first name.
[name]Forest[/name]- I really like [name]Forest[/name].

I currently am crushing on nature names: [name]Skye[/name], [name]Cedar[/name], [name]Rowen[/name], [name]Wren[/name], [name]Ember[/name].
But I am also in love with [name]Alice[/name], [name]Juliet[/name] (this is so pretty), [name]Scarlett[/name], and [name]Ivy[/name].
[name]Way[/name] to many nature names, I know.
I’m a nature names person.
I also like place names but idk why people hear hate them so much. What’s wrong with [name]Vienna[/name] or [name]Rome[/name]???
As for my boys names I am crushing on [name]Griffin[/name], [name]River[/name], [name]Atticus[/name], [name]James[/name], [name]Oakley[/name], [name]Tobias[/name], [name]Xavier[/name], and [name]Xander[/name]. Oh and [name]Roman[/name]/[name]Rome[/name].

[name]Cassia[/name]: So pretty. I love hard ‘C’ names! [name]Cassia[/name] sounds more feminine and pretty than [name]Calla[/name] in my opinion. Maybe because its so close to [name]Callum[/name].
[name]Elowen[/name]: Never heard of this before but it flows in such an elegant way. I love that its unique.
[name]Willow[/name]: I like [name]Willa[/name] better! I just associate this one to [name]Will[/name] [name]Smith[/name]'s daughter whipping her hair back and forth but thats probably just me haha.
[name]Sparrow[/name]: I can picture the most adventurous little girl with this name, adorable.
[name]Josie[/name]: This ones actually really great. Especially with the rise of the name [name]Josephine[/name] this is such a sweet nickname.
[name]Fawn[/name]/[name]Dawn[/name]: I think [name]Dawn[/name] is a bit dated like an 80’s name but [name]Fawn[/name] is a fresh take with all the same sounds.

For the boys I don’t like [name]Oak[/name] but I’m surprised on how much I like [name]Forest[/name]. It sounds so masculine but there’s the whole [name]Forrest[/name] Gump thing which isn’t bad. It’s just a really strong association.

Currently I’m crushing on [name]Maeve[/name] for a little girl. Also any [name]Finn[/name] names sound really great lately.

[name]Cassia[/name]/[name]Calla[/name]: I only like [name]Cassia[/name] pronounced [name]CASH[/name]-uh, but I still prefer [name]Calla[/name]. [name]Both[/name] are pretty,though!

[name]Elowen[/name]: [name]Elowen[/name] sounds like something that fell straight out of a fantasy novel, something “[name]Lord[/name] of the Rings”-esque. I love it!

[name]Willow[/name]: [name]Willow[/name] is very pretty, but very popular. I do like it, though, just not enough to use personally.

[name]Sparrow[/name]: I prefer this on a boy, I think, but it’s an awesome name. It could work as a middle.

[name]Josie[/name]: I’ve never liked this at all, I just really don’t like the sound of it.

[name]Fawn[/name]/[name]Dawn[/name]: [name]Fawn[/name] is a lovely middle name! I’ve thought that ever since I saw someone on here with the combo [name]Ophelia[/name] [name]Fawn[/name] {I can’t remember who it was, though:l}. [name]Dawn[/name] is dated, yes, but [name]Aurora[/name] {meaning “dawn”} would be a nice alternative {although perhaps too similar to [name]Aurelia[/name]?}?

[name]Oak[/name]: I absolutely adore [name]Oak[/name]! A few years back I saw a documentary, and I can’t remember what it was about, but there was a little boy about three called [name]Oak[/name], and I’ve loved it ever since then.

[name]Forest[/name]: It just reminds me of [name]Forrest[/name] Gump… I don’t like it as a name.

Personally, I’m crushing on [name]Orion[/name], [name]Temple[/name] {b/g can’t decide which I prefer it for}, [name]Arianwen[/name], [name]Elowen[/name] {like you haha}, [name]Grey[/name] {b}. I’m in a bit of a name rut, right now :frowning:

[name]Elowen[/name] is gorgeous! I also like [name]Rowan[/name] (similar sound).

Hmm, what am I crushing on? Let’s see:

[name]Eleanor[/name]
[name]Imogen[/name]
[name]Jane[/name]
[name]Edith[/name]
[name]Lucy[/name]
[name]Felicity[/name]

Oh my goodness! I love them all! Especially [name]Sparrow[/name], [name]Willow[/name] and [name]Forest[/name]! The only issue I can see is with [name]Oak[/name], I immediately though of Professor [name]Oak[/name] from Pokemon. I don’t think that would be too much of a problem though. You have great taste in names!

Girls:

[name]Cassia[/name] - Pretty spelling, but don’t like the pronunciation of it.
[name]Calla[/name] - I prefer this one. I think its very pretty.
[name]Elowen[/name] -I agree! I love it!
[name]Willow[/name] - Very pretty, bit getting to be roo trendy.
[name]Sparrow[/name] - As a middle, its pretty. But I’d prefer it on a boy.
[name]Josie[/name] - [name]Don[/name]'t really like it.
[name]Fawn[/name] - Ditto.
[name]Dawn[/name] - I love [name]Dawn[/name]. I this its very pretty.
[name]Oak[/name] - Not a big fan.
[name]Forest[/name] - I [name]LOVE[/name] this (its a Guilty Pleasure of mine). But I prefer the spelling [name]Forrest[/name] and I’d use it as a first name.

[name]Cassia[/name]/[name]Calla[/name]: Which one do you like best? - [name]Calla[/name] because [name]Cassia[/name] has pronunciation issues.
[name]Elowen[/name]: I love this Welsh name.
[name]Willow[/name]: Pretty but trendy. I like [name]Willa[/name].
[name]Sparrow[/name]: Best as a quirky mn.
[name]Josie[/name]: Only as a nn for [name]Josephine[/name] or it becomes too strongly associated with [name]Josie[/name] and the Pussycats.
[name]Fawn[/name]/[name]Dawn[/name]: [name]Fawn[/name] [name]Hall[/name] is my first image. Yes, [name]Dawn[/name] a bit dated.

Personally, I think your boys names [name]Oak[/name] and [name]Forest[/name] are best in the middle spot.

I’m crushing on…

Inés
Esmé
[name]Rosamund[/name]
[name]Cecily[/name]

[name]Laurence[/name]
[name]Victor[/name]
[name]Felix[/name]
[name]Louis[/name]

[name]Cassia[/name]/[name]Calla[/name]: [name]Calla[/name]! Pretty and distinctive. [name]Cassia[/name] is the protagonist of Matched, a book I really disliked.
[name]Elowen[/name]: Eh. Nice enough, but NMS.
[name]Willow[/name]: I like it much better than [name]Willa[/name], but it’s also NMS.
[name]Sparrow[/name]: Dislike this one. With the right fn I could see it working, though.
[name]Josie[/name]: Cute! You might also like [name]Sosie[/name].
[name]Fawn[/name]/[name]Dawn[/name]: [name]Dawn[/name] is definitely dated. Someone already suggested [name]Aurora[/name], but my favorite [name]Dawn[/name] name is [name]Oriana[/name].
[name]Oak[/name]- Same as [name]Sparrow[/name].
[name]Forest[/name]- I’ve known quite a few Forests/Forrests, all of whom have been very nice but sort of stoner-y, so that’s what I associate this one with.

I’m crushing on:
[name]Aviva[/name]
[name]Sunday[/name]
[name]Gemma[/name]
Anything with nn [name]Indy[/name]

Thank you everyone! Keep them coming!!

~[name]Jasmine[/name]

Girls:
[name]Cassia[/name]/[name]Calla[/name]: [name]Cassia[/name] is gorgeous! I prefer it over [name]Calla[/name].
[name]Elowen[/name]: Very pretty
[name]Willow[/name]: I like it, but its not my favorite
[name]Sparrow[/name]: Super cute for a MN
[name]Josie[/name]: I really am crushing on this name.
[name]Fawn[/name]/[name]Dawn[/name]: [name]Both[/name] make for good middle names, they’re cute

Boys:
[name]Oak[/name]: It would be a nice NN for [name]Oakley[/name]. I can’t see it standing on its own as a name
[name]Forest[/name]: eh, nothing too spectacular about this name

Girls:
[name]Cassia[/name]/[name]Calla[/name]: I prefer [name]Calla[/name].
[name]Elowen[/name]: I agree, it is elegant.
[name]Willow[/name]: Pretty, but I dislike how a lot of celebrities are using this name for their children ([name]Willow[/name] [name]Smith[/name] & P!nk’s daughter [name]Willow[/name], for example)
[name]Sparrow[/name]: It works for a mn.
[name]Josie[/name]: All I think of is [name]Josie[/name] & the Pussycats
[name]Fawn[/name]/[name]Dawn[/name]: [name]Love[/name] [name]Fawn[/name]. [name]Dawn[/name] is alright, it is a bit dated though.

Boys:
[name]Oak[/name]: Dislike.
[name]Forest[/name]: [name]Love[/name]! It would be a great fn or mn. I also like the spelling [name]Forrest[/name].

Some suggestions:
Boys: [name]Aspen[/name], [name]Callum[/name], [name]Zephyr[/name] (as a mn)
Girls: [name]Chrysanthemum[/name], [name]Dahlia[/name], [name]Fern[/name], [name]Heather[/name], [name]Iris[/name], [name]Ivy[/name], [name]Saffron[/name], [name]Violet[/name]

I like [name]Cassia[/name]. The double l’s in [name]Calla[/name] make me want to say it with a ‘y’ sound like in Spanish?
[name]Love[/name] [name]Elowen[/name] and was just thinking I’d add it to my list until I realized it contains my son’s name.
[name]Do[/name] not like [name]Willow[/name]. Nms?
Agree that [name]Sparrow[/name] would make a great mn!
[name]Josie[/name] is cute.
Dislike [name]Fawn[/name] and [name]Dawn[/name]. And [name]Oak[/name] and [name]Forest[/name]. Eek sorry!

[name]Cassia[/name]/[name]Calla[/name]: [name]Calla[/name] by a landslide. [name]Cassia[/name] has so many pronunciation issues. I find it less wearable in adulthood.
[name]Elowen[/name]: I know everybody and their dog is in love with this name on NB, but it does absolutely nothing for me. Bleurgh.
[name]Willow[/name]: I’d never use it, but I like it.
[name]Sparrow[/name]: Ditto my last.
[name]Josie[/name]: Cute, but NMS. I prefer [name]Josephine[/name].
[name]Fawn[/name]/[name]Dawn[/name]: I have weird associations with both, so it’s hard for me to be impartial on these names. I like the sound and image that both conjure; they just make me feel hungover from years ago.
