I have 3 children: [name]Matthew[/name] [name]James[/name] (7), [name]Noah[/name] [name]William[/name] (5) and [name]Ava[/name] [name]Grace[/name] (2). I am expecting twin girls who are due in 4 weeks. These are the names we like:
We would love your thoughts on these names and any other suggestions you can offer. Twin combinations would be great too. We would like their names to âmatchâ our other childrenâŚnothing random like [name]London[/name] or anything
Congratulations â what an amazing family! And naming twin girls: I donât think thereâs a more fun naming challenge.
I donât know whether this is deliberate, but several of your name have a French feel and/or origin. To me it seems as if those should be paired up. If you want two names that âmatchâ by starting with the same letter and by origin but are very different in feel and even sound, you could go with [name]Chloe[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name] â very pretty. [name]Gabrielle[/name] and [name]Isabelle[/name] are a more obvious pair â you could also do [name]Gabriella[/name] and [name]Isabella[/name]. And [name]Dominique[/name] and [name]Madeleine[/name] go well together too. Really, you could do any pairing of these six names and it would sound great.
The two names that [name]DON[/name]'T fit in this group to me are [name]Caitlin[/name] and [name]Hayley[/name]. [name]Even[/name] though they go with the names of your other children, I think of them both as names that were very popular in the 80s and 90s and are dropping fast now. While your other childrenâs names are definitely in the stylish group, theyâre stylish RIGHT NOW, not 10 or 15 years ago. So a popular name like [name]Isabelle[/name] or [name]Chloe[/name] would âmatchâ the others in terms of style.
[name]Jasmine[/name] and [name]Yasmine[/name] are different versions of the same name so you wouldnât want to use both. [name]Yasmine[/name] and [name]Isabelle[/name] are kind of interesting together. I canât wait to hear everyone elseâs ideas!
I like [name]Madeline[/name], [name]Isabelle[/name], and [name]Chloe[/name]âŚI agree with the last poster that [name]Hailey[/name] and [name]Caitlyn[/name] really do not mesh well. Other suggestionsâŚ[name]Amelia[/name] [name]Hope[/name] and [name]Delilah[/name] [name]Faith[/name]âŚI love these two names for sisters and they go well with [name]Ava[/name] [name]Grace[/name]. The first names I have heard together before used by someone famousâŚbut not too famousâŚI am not sure of their name but maybe someone else will know âŚThe middle names some may say are unoriginal but I really like them and wanted to suggest them to you anyway!!! GOOD [name]LUCK[/name]! Post when you decide what you are going to name those sweet twin girls!!!
My personal favourite out of your list is [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Chloe[/name]. I love both those names and I think theyâre in the category of names that suit a cute toddler just as well as a professional woman. I also love them together. I think they have the right balance between going together (same first initial, same origin) yet theyâre two distinct names and theyâre not matchy matchy.
Congratulations and let us know what you decide on!
With [name]Matthew[/name] [name]James[/name] (7), [name]Noah[/name] [name]William[/name] (5) and [name]Ava[/name] [name]Grace[/name] (2). I am enchanted with:
[name]Madeleine[/name] & [name]Charlotte[/name]. They stylistically âmatchâ you other children but donât macth in & of themselves, which is lovely for twins. (I have twin boys myself: [name]Leo[/name] & [name]Simon[/name], hence my thinking on non matching twin names)
If you wanted to go a bit less classic/more trendy feeling, [name]Scarlett[/name] & [name]Isabella[/name] would get my vote. Again keep them seperate, name wise. Itâs bad enough theyâll be lumped together as âthe twinsâ by family all their lives. Let them stand seperately somewhere before adulthood!
I agree with [name]Lola[/name]. [name]Madeleine[/name] (great spelling, by the way) and [name]Charlotte[/name] are great together and go well with your other childrenâs names. I think [name]Madeleine[/name] and [name]Isabella[/name] go well together too.
What about [name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Claire[/name] and [name]Isabella[/name] [name]Rose[/name]? They both have similar popularity ratings as [name]Ava[/name], but are classic and gorgeous too.
wow! Lots of babies for you! Iâll just give my initial opinions on the names you chose they are all beautiful, but just a little bit popular for my style.
[name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f]- I love [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f], but I donât like [name_u]Gabby[/name_u]. Maybe [name_f]Elle[/name_f] as a nn?
[name_f]Chloe[/name_f]- really like it a lot.
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]-love.
[name_f]Annika[/name_f]- #1 choice out of all of them. Itâs beautiful, different, and feminine. I also love the meaning
[name_f]Caitlin[/name_f]- Iâm not fond of names with [name_u]Lynn[/name_u], lyn or in at the end for some reason. I also thin [name_f]Cait[/name_f] is a little plain.
[name_f]Hayley[/name_f]- pretty plains/popular to me
[name_f]Jasmine[/name_f]- beautiful
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]- I feel like everyone and their mothers are a [name_f]Belle[/name_f]/[name_f]Bella[/name_f]/[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] these days
[name_u]Dominique[/name_u]- I love this name. I love the -que at the end.
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]- I use to love this name, but it is waaaaayyy too popular. However lots of nn. [name_f]Lottie[/name_f], [name_u]Charlie[/name_u], [name_f]Char[/name_f], [name_f]Lettie[/name_f]
[name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]- beautiful name, but kind of plain
[name_f]Yasmine[/name_f]- really like it
Like I said, they are all beautiful. But, Iâm a jessica coming from a land of Jessicas, so I always have an adverse reaction to popular/trendy names
[name_f]Chloe[/name_f] and [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] - I think these two fit great with your other children.
[name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f] and [name_u]Dominique[/name_u]
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]
