[name_m]Hi[/name_m]! I don’t know the gender of my baby, they’re due [name_f]April[/name_f] 2022, but I want to be prepared. I have already fallen in love with a boy name, [name_m]Sylas[/name_m] [name_u]George[/name_u], but finding one for a girl is hard. I just cant fall in love with any. I want to give her the same middle name as I have, [name_f]May[/name_f].
[name_f]My[/name_f] name is [name_f]Lilly[/name_f] (full) [name_f]May[/name_f]. The father is [name_u]Lawrence[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] (but he goes by Alex). I don’t like names that remind me of people, unless it’s someone dear to me. (The middle name ‘George’ for [name_m]Sylas[/name_m] is after my grandfather who raised me).
So far I like the names [name_u]Micah[/name_u] [name_f]May[/name_f], [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] [name_f]May[/name_f], [name_u]Marley[/name_u] [name_f]May[/name_f], [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f], [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f], [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f], and [name_f]Charity[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]. But none of these really get that “zing” yanno?
I would love any and as many suggestions as possible. The boy name was so easy but a girl name is difficult for me.
It seems like [name_f]May[/name_f] may be what’s holding you up, as you’ve said you don’t like names that remind you of people. What about:
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f]Maya[/name_f]
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Maya[/name_f]
[name_u]Hadley[/name_u] [name_f]Maya[/name_f]
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]Maya[/name_f]
I quite like MIcah [name_f]May[/name_f] and [name_u]Marley[/name_u] [name_f]May[/name_f] especially. I think sometimes alliteration has that pop zing.
I suggest to add to your list :
[name_f]Sandra[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]
[name_u]Laurie[/name_u] [name_f]May[/name_f]
Renna [name_f]May[/name_f]
Vivvy [name_f]May[/name_f]
These are such lovely options! It seems like you’re between classic and more modern/unisex. Of your list, I love [name_u]Marley[/name_u] [name_f]May[/name_f] and [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]! I slightly prefer [name_f]Georgia[/name_f], just because I love classics and it has such a sweet southern charm to it - but the alliteration of [name_u]Marley[/name_u] [name_f]May[/name_f] is so endearing. I would love to meet a little [name_u]Marley[/name_u] [name_f]May[/name_f]!
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite is [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] [name_f]May[/name_f], and [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] is sweet too! Not sure about [name_u]Micah[/name_u] on a girl but it sounds nice with [name_f]May[/name_f] too
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f] sprang to mind immediately! It always reminds me of [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] but feels a little fresher in the US, and it seems to blend the styles of more modern names like [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] and [name_u]Marley[/name_u] and more traditional ones like [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f]. But I do love the family connection of [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] for you.
You might also like [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u], [name_u]Harlow[/name_u], [name_f]Margo[/name_f], [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] (Maeve Georgia?) or [name_f]Colette[/name_f].
Naming is so hard I really struggled naming my daughter so I get why you want to be prepared and finding the whole experience challenging. You’ve got a good selection of names so far I really like [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] [name_f]May[/name_f], [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] & [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]. You appear to have a very varied style from classics to have modern choices but they all feel preppy & vibrant which is a cool thing to share!
You’ve had a lot of suggestions so count any repeats as me being in agreement with the berries

[name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]
[name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]
[name_u]Emerson[/name_u] [name_f]May[/name_f]
Yea I actually got the idea of [name_u]Micah[/name_u] from the show Warehouse 13; the main female lead is named [name_u]Micah[/name_u]. She was a secret service agent and so cool. Also makes me consider Claudia; one of the lesser female leads. Super smart girl.
Congratulations! I’m the complete opposite where I have so many girl names I love but we’re having a boy and I’m really struggling with finding THE name!
[name_u]Hadley[/name_u] [name_f]May[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] I really like! I think they’re both very pretty and fit nicely with [name_f]May[/name_f].
I like the names [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] the best of yours. Other suggestions:
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]
[name_f]Ciara[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]
[name_u]Piper[/name_u] [name_f]May[/name_f]
[name_u]Harper[/name_u] [name_f]May[/name_f]
[name_u]Laurel[/name_u] [name_f]May[/name_f] (I don’t know if you’d want a name that reminds you of the dad because you said you do like names of people dear to you)
