I have two names picked out. The first name is what I’ve had picked out for a while but somewhat had doubts about. The second name is one I just found that I love.
[name_f]Kassia[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] Basham
Or
[name_f]Zadie[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] Basham
I like [name_f]Zadie[/name_f] because I think it’s easier and won’t get mispronounced as much. I also think it flows and is easier to say
Both are beautiful. I love [name_f]Kassia[/name_f], but am hesitant to use it because I expect it would be shortened to [name_f]Kassi[/name_f] as a nickname. It’s up to you if you like it and if you like nicknames.
That was another reason I think I’m shying away from [name_f]Kassia[/name_f]. [name_m]Ive[/name_m] been told that her nickname would be [name_f]Kassi[/name_f]. If I wanted her to be called that, I would just name her [name_f]Kassie[/name_f]!
I thought a cute nickname for [name_f]Zadie[/name_f] could be Z.
I like both, but I think [name_f]Zadie[/name_f] is a real winner, in this situation. I could see [name_f]Kassia[/name_f] getting mispronounced and misspelled, as well as being shorted, as has been already stated.
[name_f]Zadie[/name_f] might get mistaken for [name_f]Sadie[/name_f], but the ‘z’ sound is pretty prominent, so I don’t think it would be an all-the-time thing. Z/[name_f]Zee[/name_f] is a very sweet nickname. [name_f]Zadie[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] is gorgeous, too
Definitely [name_f]Zadie[/name_f]. V pretty and spunky.
I love [name_f]Zadie[/name_f] for you. It sounds great with the middle and last names
Thanks ladies! I’ve been so set on [name_f]Kassia[/name_f] and I’m due in 4 weeks so I think that’s why Im a little hesitant to change it, but knew almost immediately after I heard it that I loved [name_f]Zadie[/name_f]!
