I voted for [name_m]Ivan[/name_m], mainly because [name_m]Frederic[/name_m] without a “k” on the end looks kind of incomplete to me. Both are great names, though.
I much prefer [name_m]Frederic[/name_m].
[name_m]Ivan[/name_m]. I think it’s coming back, and I like the softer sounds in the name. Never been a huge fan of [name_m]Frederic[/name_m].
[name_m]Frederick[/name_m].
[name_m]Ivan[/name_m]! It sounds so much sleeker, classier, and more dashing than [name_m]Frederic[/name_m] to me, which I’ve always thought was sort of harsh and clunky. He’s likely to be nicknamed [name_m]Fred[/name_m], which to me is just sort of goofy, and conjures up a dumpy middle-aged man.
I agree with the previous poster- [name_m]Ivan[/name_m]!
[name_u]Love[/name_u] both but [name_m]Ivan[/name_m] has the edge. One of my all time favourites
Thank you for this. I’m hoping your feedback will help sway my husband to [name_m]Ivan[/name_m].
I adore [name_m]Frederic/name_m!
I am biased as it is an honour name for me (and I prefer names that can be nicknamed) but [name_m]Frederic[/name_m] is definitely my top choice out of the 2. Also I think [name_u]Freddie[/name_u] is a much more natural nickname than [name_m]Fred[/name_m] these days and [name_u]Freddie[/name_u] can work for adults too. [name_m]Ivan[/name_m] isn’t my style although I can see it’s appeal.
Although the more I think about it [name_m]Ivan[/name_m] fits in better with [name_f]Greta[/name_f] and [name_f]Giselle[/name_f].
They are both so awesome but I voted for [name_m]Ivan[/name_m]. I never hear it and lately I’ve been crushing on it hard.
I prefer [name_m]Frederic[/name_m].
