I agree!
[name]Maisy[/name] or [name]Maisie[/name].
Duh, Mayszeyye!!
No. Totally kidding. [name]Maisie[/name] all the way.
I hate to add more to the pile, but you could also use:
[name]Maci[/name]
[name]Macie[/name]
[name]Macy[/name]
[name]Macey[/name]
but [name]Maisie[/name] is the nicest of the choices you’ve listed.
If you don’t mind helping out a bit, can you tell us your reason for sorting all the letters of the alphabet in such a way? If you are seriously confused as to how to spell a name, I am intrigued by the thought process, what gain you expect by treating vowels as decorations.
If you want to rearrange a room with a particular set of furniture, you might have a couple ways everything will fit and be comfortable and not block things like doorways and air vents. Maybe you like a different fabric on that one chair than I would pick and you really like orange paint where I like green, but I can’t say it doesn’t make sense for you to do it that way.
Some - most - of the spellings you arrived at are more like putting the couch in front of the door, and putting all the tables at the other end of the room, pictures hanging down from the ceiling, lamps, how about 18 lamps and a chandelier on the floor, and your chairs upside-down and wrapped in a rug because it’s your creative vision. Interesting for an art statement - not really easy to actually live with. I hope you don’t mind me putting it like that. I like the decorating metaphors, and it looked like you could use a little more illustration. Names must be lived with.
I just know I would like to know why you and so many other parents out there think a name’s spelling is so completely optional and that vowels are more decorative than functional as to make such a list. I knew someone once who decided on a name [name]Ryan[/name] for her daughter and then moved on to the “how should I spell it?” phase, but I didn’t know her well enough to question the process that requires sifting through as many ideas as possible. I assume because it’s a boys name she wanted to play with it a little, and eventually arrived at [name]Ryen[/name], not Reighyiaeaynn.
Meyzie nn Meyzie Daizie
[name]Maisie[/name] is the best! very pretty
[name]Maisie[/name] or [name]Maisy[/name].
It depends on how you want it pronounced. Spelled any way with an “s” is “[name]Macy[/name]”. If you spell it with a “z” then it is “Maizy” like corn. I am using Maizy for my daughter. I loved in from Uncle [name]Buck[/name] as a kid and I still love it today…Maizy [name]Arden[/name], [name]Arden[/name] for [name]Ardith[/name], [name]Arlene[/name] and [name]Denise[/name], combined respectfully.
I would chose either [name]Maisie[/name] or [name]Maizie[/name] equally. Anything else looks like you tried too hard.
[name]Maisie[/name] all the way :!:
I really love that name, too. I was stuck between [name]Maisy[/name] and [name]Maisie[/name], but I’m gonna go with [name]Maisy[/name]
I disagree with PP who said “[name]Maisie[/name]” is pronounced “[name]Macy[/name].” [name]Both[/name] [name]Maisie[/name] (or [name]Maisy[/name]) and [name]Daisy[/name] come from [name]Margaret[/name]. To me, they rhyme.
[name]Maisie[/name]. Anything other than [name]Maisie[/name] or [name]Maisy[/name] is just atrocious.
I’d avoid misspellings & GO [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] or [name_f]Maizie[/name_f], maybe even [name_f]Maisy[/name_f].
I would definitely go with [name_f]Maisie[/name_f], which is my favorite spelling and the most common. It’s also the easiest spelling.
Yikes!
Maisie. Period.
Why is this back 10 years later???
Hey [name_f]Maizie[/name_f] is on my list. I feel like if you spell it maisie that she would get called macie you know i am naming my next girl maizie
Lol guys Meiysy is already 10 years old at this point!
