I think we have narrowed it down! Finally! Hopefully, anyway.
These are my questions:
What do you think of [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_u]Sage[/name_u] “[name_f]Emmy[/name_f]”, [name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] ([name_f]Alice[/name_f] is a family name), [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_u]Reese[/name_u]?
Would [name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] or [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_u]Everly[/name_u] be too “V” heavy? [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is my very favorite name and [name_u]Everly[/name_u] is his so I’d love to make them work.
[name_m]How[/name_m] do you prefer [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] spelled? I’m not sure if I’m comfortable with any of the spellings yet. I like [name_f]Emeline[/name_f]/[name_f]Emaline[/name_f] because its a bit shorter, but I like [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] because it’s the proper way.
In order I like: [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_u]Sage[/name_u], [name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_u]Reese[/name_u], [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f]. I’m not fan of [name_u]Everly[/name_u], [name_u]Reese[/name_u], or [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f], but there’s nothing glaringly horrible about any of the combinations.
I like combinations that share consonant sounds, so I might not be the best person to ask on this one. I think [name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_u]Everly[/name_u] sound nice together. I prefer [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_u]Everly[/name_u], just because I think [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is the prettier of the two names. (Also, even if the names didn’t sound wonderful together, if they’re truly your two favorites, then I would make it work anyway).
3). [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] should definitely retain this spelling. The others just look strange.
I love all the firsts, the middles are OK. [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite is [name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] (very pretty and a nice balance of new & classic) then [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f], then [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_u]Sage[/name_u], then [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_u]Reese[/name_u]. While [name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is a good mix, I feel like [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_u]Reese[/name_u] are TOO contrasting.
I don’t think [name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]/[name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_u]Everly[/name_u] is too V heavy at all! I love it, I feel like they go really well together because of the similar letters.
I think [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] is unique enough to go with the original spelling. [name_f]Emaline[/name_f] & [name_f]Emeline[/name_f] would just make it more difficult than necessary. I feel like [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] is the way to go.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_u]Sage[/name_u] and [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_u]Reese[/name_u]. Not a fan of [name_u]Everly[/name_u], but I think it sounds fine in the middle with [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_u]Everly[/name_u] (not too V heavy). I think [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] or [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] would also be sweet. Also, stick with [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]. It will make it easier for everyone. That extra M will go a long way in helping people spell her name correctly.
I think all of the combinations work, including [name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]/[name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_u]Everly[/name_u]. I love [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_u]Sage[/name_u]. It’s a perfect combination- Longer, sweet classic and short, spunky nature name. Absolutely beautiful! I like the original spelling best.
[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite from your list is [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] (with this spelling) [name_u]Sage[/name_u]. It flows very nicely together. I do find [name_u]Everly[/name_u] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] (or vice versa) very V heavy and probably wouldn’t use.
