So, earlier, I posted about how I didn’t love any of my names anymore, and, I think Ashthedreamer was right, I was sick of them! So, I did a revamp of my combinations, and I’ve successfully fallen in love with all of them. The key was the middle names - once I used [name_m]French[/name_m] middle names, the combos sounded totally different, and the first names sounded more beautiful than ever before to me. So, the new list;
[name_f]Agnes[/name_f] MÄelle nn [name_f]Aggie[/name_f] (for some reason my laptop won`t let me use [name_f]Maelle[/name_f] if I want the accent…)
[name_f]Minerva[/name_f] [name_f]Pomeline[/name_f] nn [name_f]Minnie[/name_f]
[name_f]Maude[/name_f] [name_f]Aveline[/name_f] (Ay-vell-leen)
[name_f]Priscilla[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Mireille[/name_f] (Meer-ay)
[name_f]Alethea[/name_f] [name_f]Marcheline[/name_f]
[name_f]Octavia[/name_f] [name_f]Marielle[/name_f]
[name_f]Mirabelle[/name_f] Änais
[name_f]Eulalie[/name_f] [name_f]Frostine[/name_f]
Ooh, nice names! My favourites are…
- [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Mireille[/name_f]
- [name_f]Alethea[/name_f] [name_f]Marcheline[/name_f]
- [name_f]Mirabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Anais[/name_f]
Thank you! [name_f]Mirabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Anais[/name_f] is definitely a favourite of mine, but if I were to have a daughter right now, I’d be between [name_f]Maude[/name_f] [name_f]Aveline[/name_f] and [name_f]Minerva[/name_f] [name_f]Pomeline[/name_f]
I love so many [name_m]French[/name_m] girls’ names, I could make a thousand combinations for them all, it seems as though a [name_m]French[/name_m] middle makes everything sound prettier to my ears ;D
Georgia[/name_f]]And a nice revamp, for sure! Here are some of my favorites:
[name_f]Agnes[/name_f] [name_f]Maelle[/name_f] - This sounds lovely…and OK, I might be a [name_m]LITTLE[/name_m] biased about the nickname [name_f]Aggie[/name_f]
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Mireille[/name_f] - [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] is simply beautiful, and the combination sounds elegant
[name_f]Eulalie[/name_f] [name_f]Frostine[/name_f] - I’m not 100% sold on [name_f]Frostine[/name_f], but I absolutely love [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f] and they do sound nice together
[name_f]Agnes[/name_f] MÄelle nn [name_f]Aggie[/name_f] - I like the sound but only know Maëlle (spelled like this).
[name_f]Minerva[/name_f] [name_f]Pomeline[/name_f] nn [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] - [name_f]Pomeline[/name_f] is not my cup of tea (it reminds me of a not so nice word in german)
[name_f]Maude[/name_f] [name_f]Aveline[/name_f] (Ay-vell-leen) - Like the combo but not the pronunciation of [name_f]Aveline[/name_f] (would pronounce it [name_m]Ah[/name_m]- veh-leen)
[name_f]Priscilla[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] - [name_f]Priscilla[/name_f] is nms; and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] I’d spell the french way (if you want french middles)
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Mireille[/name_f] (Meer-ay) - This one’s really sweet!
[name_f]Alethea[/name_f] [name_f]Marcheline[/name_f] - [name_m]Ah[/name_m]-lee-thea or Ale-thea?
[name_f]Octavia[/name_f] [name_f]Marielle[/name_f] - nice
[name_f]Mirabelle[/name_f] Änais - only ever heard of [name_f]Ana[/name_f]ïs, I like the combo though
[name_f]Eulalie[/name_f] [name_f]Frostine[/name_f] - [name_f]Frostine[/name_f] reminds me just a bit too much of frost
Thank you
I like [name_f]Juliette[/name_f], but when I saw it with [name_f]Priscilla[/name_f], it looked like it was just too much, so that one I made an exception for. [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] is gorgeous!
So glad I could help!
Changing things up a little just seems to help. Or, in my case, I just look for some fresh meat and realize my list was best how it was to begin with. Haha. I rarely add new names to my list. And most of the “new” ones are old ones that I just fell in love with all over again, haha.
I really like [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Mireille[/name_f], [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f] [name_f]Frostine[/name_f], and [name_f]Alethea[/name_f] [name_f]Marcheline[/name_f]! My best friend’s name was [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] [name_f]Marcheline[/name_f] (she passed away in 2011)–[name_f]Alethea[/name_f] [name_f]Marcheline[/name_f] reminds me of her name. It’s really fun. I also like [name_f]Anthea[/name_f], too (plus, it has the fun [name_f]Annie[/name_f]!), and I think [name_f]Anthea[/name_f] [name_f]Marcheline[/name_f] would be lovely, too. If you do decide you want fresh meat. haha. [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Mireille[/name_f] is my favorite, though! These days, I prefer the fluke-variant of [name_f]Mireille[/name_f], [name_f]Mirielle[/name_f], but I think [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Mireille[/name_f] probably works better here, anyway.
[name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_f]Minerva[/name_f] [name_f]Pomeline[/name_f]. [name_f]Love[/name_f] love love it!
