It is a new one for me. To me it has a bit of old feel, like [name_f]Beverly[/name_f], and a sweetness. What are your opinions? There are so many lee and ee ending girl names and I seem to be attracted to them.
I love [name_u]Everly[/name_u]! I like it with the ‘e’ as well as in [name_m]Everley[/name_m] but i dont think thats really used. It makes me think ‘happily ever’
And there’s the advantage of the cute nn [name_f]Evie[/name_f] if you wanted it. But, yea my husbands first comment was ‘[name_f]Beverley[/name_f] without the e?’ And I’m not a fan of [name_f]Beverley[/name_f], to me that’s sort of a Middle aged name- even though I went to school with a [name_f]Beverley[/name_f] oddly!
Opps [name_f]Beverley[/name_f] without the ‘B’ obviously
[name_u]Everly[/name_u] feels sooooooo trendy. I’m not a fan of it at all.
The [name_u]Ever[/name_u] names have grown on me. If you like the -ly but not a fan of the [name_f]Beverly[/name_f] association, there’s [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] too. (I was head over heels for Wavely for a bit).
I like [name_u]Everly[/name_u], I agree it has a sweet sound to it.
Thank you all.
Funny that [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] was suggested, this is very close to my grandma’s maiden name. She passed 17 years ago. Would be a nice way to honor her. I also really like the meaning.
[name_u]Everly[/name_u] is one of my top girl names and I didn’t think of the nn [name_f]Evie[/name_f], but it’s so cute!
It’s extremely trendy to me. I prefer [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] and just plain [name_f]Eve[/name_f].
