My husband has (possibly jokingly) given me a list of girls names that he think would be cool if we ever had twins. While I may like one or two off the list they aren’t my style and definitely not for twins.
Which do you like? Could you see a pairing?
I prefer twins to have different initials so these are a little matchy for my taste. The individual names aren’t bad but I wouldn’t choose them for siblings. The least matchy combos would be [name]Briony[/name] and [name]Bronwen[/name] or [name]Bronte[/name] and [name]Brynn[/name]. They still share a “BR” in the beginning so I am hoping he’s kidding too!
Exactly! None of them would make my top list but I could like with [name]Bronte[/name], [name]Briony[/name] and [name]Brynn[/name] but not with more than one child. I find the ‘br’ syllable to be a bit clunky and awkward.
I like most of these names individually (except [name]Brynn[/name] which I think of as too masculine and a little fusty), but they are a little too matchy(understatement)! I like [name]Briar[/name] OR [name]Briony[/name] with [name]Bronwen[/name] best, if I had to choose (incidentally, also my favourite three). [name]Bronte[/name] and [name]Bronwen[/name] or [name]Briony[/name] and [name]Briar[/name] are the worst matches, though. (That said, I’d prefer them to the supposedly trendy matchy parings like [name]Emma[/name] and [name]Emily[/name], just because they are at least unusual names!)
Yeah, he seriously thinks they would be cute for multiples… he actually said he hopes we have quints so we could use them together.
I think he got altitude sickness on our honeymoon!
I told him that they would have to be middles or one single name off the list because I don’t want our children sticking us in horrible retirement homes to get back at us!
I like all of these names. [name]Bronwen[/name] has been a favorite forever, and the others are all very nice, but I definitely wouldn’t put them together. I have a friend with three children (not multiples) and they are named [name]Brooke[/name], [name]Brie[/name], and [name]Brock[/name]. Very confusing!
