So I am desperately trying to decide between [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] and [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f]. I just can’t seem to pick. I don’t really want to combine the two as it seems too long for me. Please tell me which one you like better and why. What do you picture under someone named that? I just can’t seem to make up my mind and I need some really good reasons as to why I should pick one or why you like one over the other.
My personal favorite is [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f]. Its gorgeous, romantic but not over the top, a name that isnt common but not something people havent heard of, has some adorable nicknames ([name_f]Ana[/name_f], [name_f]Annie[/name_f], [name_f]Cissy[/name_f], [name_f]Nessa[/name_f] etc) and has rich history. Only drawback that I can find is the association with Fifthy shades of [name_u]Grey[/name_u], but if you dont mind that, [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] is a winner for me.
Both [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] are beautiful. However I prefer [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] because it’s got a more down to earth feel about it and doesn’t make [name_f]Rose[/name_f] feel so overused.
I prefer [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], I think it’s beautiful, elegant and not an overly common name. Not a fan of [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u], a girl I know called [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] is called [name_u]Kenzie[/name_u] all the time and I’m not a fan of how that sounds either.
Personal preference I’m afraid but it’s a no brainer for me. Good luck!
[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is beautiful! [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] is not my style at all.
I agree with bellerose- it’s romantic and elegant and will age better than [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] in my opinion.
I find [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] permanently childish and very trendy. A lot of [name_m]Mac[/name_m]-names are out and about and they will someday be very dated, in my opinion. [name_f]Mackenna[/name_f], Mackinley, [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u], etc. [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] has tons of history over several centuries and adorable nicknames that age well and are unique ([name_f]Stasia[/name_f], [name_f]Ana[/name_f], [name_f]Tash[/name_f], etc.)
I love [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. It’s so gorgeous, romantic, and dreamy. [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] doesn’t go well with [name_f]Rose[/name_f] to me.
I like them both, but I think that [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] flows better than [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] is also more unique, yet people have still heard about it. Either way, I think you won’t make a mistake as they are both pretty names!
They’re both great names but have a very different style. [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] is a bit more elegant, [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] is a bit more spunky. Perhaps consider what you might want to name future children. A son named [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] goes well with [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f], where [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u]'s brother might be named [name_u]Parker[/name_u] or [name_u]Ryan[/name_u].
Personally I’d pick [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] over [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u], but it’s really just about what vibe you’re going for. Congrats on the little one!
