Okay so my fiancé and I have been talking baby girl names since forever…and I really enjoy different names so I am sharing the names and I want some feedback on a few.
The names that I am sticking with rain or shine are as follows:
Arrieta [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Hartley[/name_u] or I will call her Eta [name_f]Jane[/name_f] (I have dreams about a little girl all the time and this is her name and we both love it!)
Now we have other names but we can’t agree on a lot…
I love [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Kathyleen[/name_f] and he hates [name_f]Daphne[/name_f].
We like [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Denise[/name_f] but I want her full name to be [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and he hates it
We like [name_f]Melody[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and calling her Melrose but still are on the fence.
Now I was talking to him about [name_f]Jillian[/name_f] [name_f]Kathyleen[/name_f] and he really didn’t care for [name_f]Jillian[/name_f] but we both actually like Jillia [name_f]Kathyleen[/name_f] better. Well we looked it up and it doesn’t really exist so I’m worried it would be too out there! I love Jillia and calling her Jillybean!
HELP
Also [name_u]Hillary[/name_u] [name_f]Kathyleen[/name_f] is my name so that is where the middle name comes in!:-?
Is [name_f]Kathyleen[/name_f] pronounced as Kath-ee-leen or Kath-leen?
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] is out if he doesn’t like it.
[name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Denise[/name_f] is nice, I also like [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], but [name_f]Nora[/name_f] is nice enough on it’s own if you can get used to it.
[name_f]Melody[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] nn Melrose is also nice, it depends what about you’re on the fence about.
Jillia is unusual, I think it will be assumed as a typo for [name_f]Jillian[/name_f] a lot, but that’s not the end of the world.
As for [name_f]Nora[/name_f], you could name her [name_f]Eleonora[/name_f], [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f], [name_f]Lenore[/name_f], [name_f]Leonora[/name_f], [name_f]Annora[/name_f] or [name_f]Norabel[/name_f]
Instead of [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] you could use [name_u]Dagny[/name_u] or [name_f]Daniella[/name_f] nn [name_u]Dani[/name_u]
Why cant you decide if you like Melrose? What about [name_f]Bellerose[/name_f], [name_u]Penrose[/name_u], [name_f]Primrose[/name_f]?
[name_f]Celia[/name_f] instead of Jillia? [name_f]Delia[/name_f]?
Arrieta [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Hartley[/name_u]: Arrieta is nice but I really only like the [name_f]Arietta[/name_f] spelling. Eta looks like it should be said “ee-tah” and also looks like ‘estimated time of arrival.’ Is [name_u]Hartley[/name_u] your surname?
The rest of your names are not what I would classify as “different names”
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Kathyleen[/name_f]: [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] is incredibly familiar and has never left the top 1000. I think it’s very pretty.
[name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Denise[/name_f]: [name_f]Nora[/name_f] is suuuper trendy and adorable, and [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] does not have to be a full name for [name_f]Nora[/name_f]. [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] has also recently skyrocketed so assuming many of them are called [name_f]Nora[/name_f] as well, there are sooo many littles Noras. I love it though. [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Denise[/name_f] flows nicely.
[name_f]Melody[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]: [name_f]Melody[/name_f] is okay, not my style, but okay. It’s definitely familiar.
I would stick with [name_f]Arietta[/name_f] or [name_f]Nora[/name_f] since you both love them. [name_f]Nora[/name_f] can stand on her own. [name_f]Arietta[/name_f] gets my vote. It’s s long time favorite that fits your love of different names.
[name_f]Kathyleen[/name_f] is like [name_f]Kathleen[/name_f] the Y is silent! My moms middle name is [name_f]Kathyleen[/name_f] and My grandmas name was [name_f]Kathy[/name_f]!
I have been fighting [name_m]Cole[/name_m] on this forever!!! See we watched [name_m]Jake[/name_m] Arrieta pitch his first no hitter and I loved his name but he wants it spelt like his… -_____-
