if/when you have the time, would you mind doing ada marigold and eloise dorothy?
[name_m]Conrad[/name_m] [name_u]Elias[/name_u] [name_u]Fen[/name_u] ā [name_m]Konrad[/name_m] [name_u]Elias[/name_u] [name_m]Veikko[/name_m], Konsta [name_u]Elias[/name_u] Veli, or [name_m]Rasmus[/name_m] [name_u]Elias[/name_u] Venni (Fen is a tricky one since there arenāt really any similar Finnish names but I like V names as an alternative since the consonant sounds F/V are voiceless/voiced version of each other and related that way. [name_m]Konrad[/name_m] is somewhat known in Finland although not particularly common so I wanted to do two other options as well - Konsta and [name_m]Rasmus[/name_m] have a similar feel to them as [name_m]Konrad[/name_m] to me! [name_u]Elias[/name_u] is very common in Finland so felt right for all three combos but Eljas could be an alternative!)
Ęlvį“ [name_f]Mattea[/name_f] [name_u]Lee[/name_u] ā [name_f]Elvi[/name_f] [name_f]Matleena[/name_f] (just one option because itās just the perfect one )
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] ā [name_f]Aada[/name_f] [name_f]Orvokki[/name_f] (Orvokki being another flower name - a pansy!) or [name_f]Aada[/name_f] [name_f]Marianne[/name_f] (another [name_f]Mari[/name_f]- name. )
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] ā Eliisa [name_f]Tuulikki[/name_f] or [name_f]Elsi[/name_f] Josefiina (middles are based purely on vibes, and Eliisa / [name_f]Elsi[/name_f] based on sound!)
Thank you so much for doing this, @Luminen!
Definitely perfect!
These are all great! Iām loving Konrad (of course ), but Konsta as it fits so well as an alternative (itās perfect). I hadnāt heard of Rasmus before and, while I the meaning fits so well, Iām not sure about the sound of it quite yet. Elias (or Eljas) are undeniably amazing. Now I canāt choose between Veikko, Veli and Venniā¦ they all sound great in these combos and the meanings are so appropriate, each for their own reasons.
[name_m]Hi[/name_m], I know this post is old but I couldnāt resist! Could you do [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] [name_f]Helen[/name_f] for me? I have Finnish heritage but have never been able to go to Finland although itās a goal of mine. Thank you so much!
No worries, I love doing these!
[name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] [name_f]Helen[/name_f] ā Viena [name_f]Helle[/name_f] (Viena is a variation of Vieno which means soft / delicate and that was close as I could get to Bonnieās meaning! [name_f]Helle[/name_f] is a Finnish diminutive of Helen); [name_f]Enni[/name_f] [name_f]Helena[/name_f] (Enni based on sound; [name_f]Helena[/name_f] is the most common variation of [name_f]Helen[/name_f] in Finland); or [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] HellƤ (Fiona because itās a Scottish name like [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f], but also commonly used in Finland, HellƤ is another diminutive of [name_f]Helen[/name_f] but also means gentle which echos the sweetness of Bonnie)
Thank you so much this was so helpful!!!
