I Love All These Names, But Which One Do I Go With?

Which one of these names do you prefer for a girl?

  • AJ
  • [name_f]Paige[/name_f]
  • [name_f]Misty[/name_f]
    AJ is a nice short name that sounds cool, but unlike the others it doesn’t go so well with a middle name. [name_f]Misty[/name_f] is less common but a beautiful name. I think [name_f]Paige[/name_f] is considered ‘classic’.
    if you’re not keen on any of these, any other names you like would be helpful :).

Out of the three, I prefer [name_f]Paige[/name_f].

When I was a child my grandma had a female neighbor that went by A.J. I never knew what her actual name was. She was a very kind, friendly woman.

[name_f]Paige[/name_f]. Maybe you’d like [name_u]Sage[/name_u]… Has a naturey feel like [name_f]Misty[/name_f] but sounds like [name_f]Paige[/name_f].

AJ I would only use as a nickname based on initials. Is that what you mean?

I like [name_f]Misty[/name_f] and [name_f]Paige[/name_f]. I would go for [name_f]Misty[/name_f].

AJ - I see AJ as a nickname for [name_f]Amara[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] or some other firstname A secondname J combo.
[name_f]Paige[/name_f] - I like that this is a name I don’t hear a lot, to me it fits right in with today’s [name_u]Blaise[/name_u], [name_u]Blair[/name_u], [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]'s.
[name_f]Misty[/name_f] - Besides the fact this is an adjective, I have a ditzy girl association with this name so it would not be my choice.

I would go with [name_f]Paige[/name_f].

I like [name_f]Misty[/name_f] the most. I think of [name_f]Misty[/name_f] Copeland, the ballerina, who is a wonderful association.

[name_f]Misty[/name_f] is really cute on a child but I cant see it growing well with a woman.

I have a cousin named [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] and she goes by AJ, based on the starting sound of her name. Perhaps [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] combines the classic, less common, AJ nn that you’re going for?

I do love [name_f]Minta[/name_f] or [name_f]Minty[/name_f] (short for [name_f]Araminta[/name_f]).

I would never name a child initials. If you like [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Joanna[/name_f] and choose to nickname her AJ, that’s different.

Omg, THIS! [name_f]Amara[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] sounds gorgeous! That can be your AJ, OP. I wouldn’t name my girl just AJ, either. They’re initials.

[name_f]Misty[/name_f] is a name I do think is very cute, but for a dog. I think it could also be maybe a nn for a person, at the most.

I love the name [name_f]Paige[/name_f]. It’s probably because of my obsession with Charmed because this type of name is normally not my style (short, one-syllable). I think [name_f]Paige[/name_f] (or if you like the AJ suggestion =p) is your best bet!
