I love it but hubby isn't sure....

I am really in love with the name [name]Clare[/name]. I want to name our little one [name]Clare[/name] [name]Lillian[/name], but my husband wants her first name to be either [name]Lillian[/name] or [name]Grace[/name]. While I love both names, the popularity of them seems to be very high!! I think that [name]Clare[/name], while it may be popular, is not crazy popular like [name]Lily[/name] and [name]Grace[/name]. Any opinions on [name]Clare[/name] [name]Lillian[/name]??? Thanks!!!

I like all of those names. It probably depends on your area, but in my area [name]Clare[/name] is equally as popular as [name]Grace[/name] and [name]Lillian[/name]/[name]Lily[/name].

[name]How[/name] about [name]Lillian[/name] [name]Clara[/name] [name]Grace[/name]?

I love the name [name]Claire[/name] ([name]Clare[/name] is fine too) and personally think it is less popular than [name]Lily[/name] and [name]Grace[/name]. I’ve never met a [name]Claire[/name] actually. Maybe he would like [name]Clara[/name] better?

I think the combo [name]Clare[/name] [name]Lillian[/name] is lovely. However, I think it’s very important for both parents to love a child’s name. I think that is more important than popularity.

In my area, [name]Clare[/name] is definitely less popular than [name]Grace[/name] and [name]Lily[/name]/[name]Lillian[/name]. I know one girl named [name]Clare[/name] with that spelling and a few more with the [name]Claire[/name] spelling. I know many, many [name]Grace[/name]'s and [name]Lily[/name]'s. The combo [name]Clare[/name] [name]Lillian[/name] is adorable, so is [name]Lillian[/name] [name]Clare[/name], [name]Lillian[/name] [name]Grace[/name] and [name]Grace[/name] [name]Lillian[/name]. I like all of your options.

[name]Grace[/name] is #17 on the SSA charts while [name]Claire[/name] (the most popular spelling) is #53. So [name]Grace[/name] is definitely much more popular than [name]Clare[/name]. [name]Lily[/name] is #18 while [name]Lillian[/name] is #27. So if you are looking for the option that would be most unique, [name]Clare[/name] [name]Lillian[/name] is the way to go.

Here are the actual numbers of babies born 2009:
