Okay, I’ve been going over and over this and finally decided to ask for help. I [name]LOVE[/name] the name [name]Griffin[/name] and would love to use it but we already have out 4 boy name combos done. I think my husband would be willing to let me use it, but I don’t know where. The only thing I can think of is to replace on of the names I already have or to have one boy with 2 middle names and none of the rest have that. I can’t replace any of the Greek names so this is the only way it could work:
The only one of those I really like is [name]Alexander[/name] [name]Griffin[/name], but my husband Loves [name]Dante[/name] there. Besides that, I don’t think [name]Griffin[/name] goes with [name]Damien[/name], [name]Alexander[/name], [name]Asher[/name], or [name]Raphael[/name], do you? So other wise it would be:
[name]Damien[/name] [name]Quillon[/name] [name]Griffin[/name] – too much N
[name]Alexander[/name] [name]Dante[/name] [name]Griffin[/name]/[name]Alexander[/name] [name]Griffin[/name] [name]Dante[/name]

[name]How[/name] could I convince my husband about using [name]Griffin[/name] in the middle for [name]Alexander[/name] or which of these do you like or do you have any other suggestions?
I also like [name]Alexander[/name] [name]Griffin[/name] better than the other possible combinations. [name]Raphael[/name] [name]Griffin[/name] doesn’t sound bad to me, but stylistically the two names seem so far apart. I don’t really have any ideas on how to convince your husband. Mine dislikes a lot of names that I love, but at least it helps narrow down my list.
I like [name]Alexander[/name] [name]Dante[/name] [name]Griffin[/name]. My hubby is also not a fan of [name]Griffin[/name], but I like it. [name]Asher[/name] Lykaion [name]Griffin[/name] works too. Are you planning on using two middle names?
I didn’t want to use 2 middle names, but I suppose if I need to then I would. He said he’d be willing to consider using it. He’s pretty accommodating, he just doesn’t want to have to get rid of a name he loves too. [name]Alexander[/name] [name]Dante[/name] [name]Griffin[/name] [name]Thomas[/name] would be 10 syllables and 27 letters long. Is that too long? Would it be weird for only one kid to have 2 middle names?
@amyb2 – It wouldn’t be [name]Raphael[/name] [name]Griffin[/name]. I need a Greek name in each combo.
It does seem long, and I personally don’t like double middle names, but it works for some people. I think [name]Griffin[/name] Lykaion and [name]Griffin[/name] Zarex both sound fine too. [name]Do[/name] you like [name]Griffin[/name] for a first name or middle name? [name]Do[/name] you like it better than either [name]Asher[/name] or [name]Raphael[/name]? [name]Just[/name] giving you something to think about
I like [name]Asher[/name] better than [name]Raphael[/name] for sure. If I were to use it as a first name, it would likely be a replacement for [name]Raphael[/name]. In which case the sib set would look like [name]Damien[/name], [name]Alexander[/name], [name]Asher[/name], and [name]Griffin[/name]. Does [name]Griffin[/name] fit in there? I’m not sure >.< I think I’m just too close to the situation.
I think it fits fine. At least as well as [name]Raphael[/name], maybe better. I may not be the best person to ask though. I don’t worry that much about matching sibsets

I have two middle names, and I’m the only on out of my siblings with it. It’s not a big issue with the difference at all.
My husband said he would be fine with having it as a double middle with [name]Alexander[/name] but he said he really only likes it as [name]Alexander[/name] [name]Griffin[/name] [name]Dante[/name]. I’m going to start a poll. Thanks.
My best friend has 6 children, and only one with 2 middles. His name is long, but no one ever calls him [name]Jeffery[/name] [name]Andrew[/name] Guillard Lastname. I love calling him Jag. I say go for [name]Alexander[/name] [name]Dante[/name] [name]Griffin[/name]!
