I need an opinion

So I have a character named Elias. His full name is Elias Herschel Palmer Rosenberg (last name possibly will change). But I need an opinion on his little brother that is murdered. Does Soren fit with Elias? I don’t have ideas on what his mother and father would be named so if you want to give names then you can, though we don’t see much of Elias and his brother’s parents except for the beginning of the story. Here’s a reference to what Elias and his brother look like for visual purposes.

Elias is a detective because that’s what I thought he looked the most like.
His brother I think would be in sports or something as he looks more like he’s into the more jock kinds of stuff (and because that’s what I think of when I look at or think of him).

Elias

His brother

I think [name_m]Soren[/name_m] fits well! Other suggestions would be…

[name_m]Silas[/name_m]
[name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]
[name_u]Thaddeus[/name_u]
[name_u]Teagan[/name_u]
[name_u]Callum[/name_u]
[name_m]Hugo[/name_m]
[name_u]Micah[/name_u]

Sorry this is all I can come up with right now, but I hope this helps!

@Blossom19 i love these suggestions!

[name_m]Soren[/name_m] works imo!!

I also thought of:

[name_u]Jordan[/name_u]
[name_u]Franklin[/name_u]
[name_m]Fenwick[/name_m]
[name_m]Russell[/name_m]
[name_m]Truett[/name_m]
[name_m]Ronan[/name_m]

Coleson/Colson
Reynard/Renard
[name_m]Tibalt[/name_m]
[name_m]Rufus[/name_m]
[name_u]Carmine[/name_u]

soren does fit well with elias ! but the full name elias herschel palmer rosenberg reads veryvery jewish to me, so soren as a very scandinavian name feels just a little out of place. it definitely is still feasible don’t get me wrong, but is maybe something to keep in mind (plus i’m not sure if you used a jewish name on purpose), especially if cohesion is very important to you in your namesets.

Update!

A name that I came across just today was Erel which is Hebrew and means something related to ‘angel’. I may still use [name_m]Soren[/name_m] but use it as a middle, not sure.

I was thinking that maybe Elias’ parents were from somewhere that’s in Scandinavia and Jewish but used a very Jewish name for [name_u]Elias[/name_u] because they thought he would be the only son they had but when they got a little surprise that was the pregnancy of Elias’ little brother, they decided to actually use a more Scandinavian (or a mix of Jewish and Scandinavian) because they felt bad for not giving [name_u]Elias[/name_u] a name like that and didn’t want to put his little brother through the troubles that [name_u]Elias[/name_u] had with his name growing up. But also Elias’ family (parents and him) moved to the UK or somewhere else when [name_u]Elias[/name_u] was a toddler because they wanted a fresh start with his little brother? Not sure on it all yet.

But does Erel fit with [name_u]Elias[/name_u] or should it be [name_u]Eren[/name_u] or [name_u]Eden[/name_u] or something else? (Doesn’t have to start with an E, just an FYI).
