I totally love the name [name]Lorelei[/name] and that’s my number one on the list. I have come to the conclusion that I am going to have to stop any nicknames and insist on calling her the full name and hope others do too.
My other favourites would be [name]Cecily[/name], [name]Phoebe[/name], [name]Viviana[/name] and [name]Felicity[/name]
least favorites are… [name]Daphne[/name] and [name]Felicity[/name]
Favorites are…[name]Viviana[/name], [name]Lorelei[/name], [name]Cecelia[/name],[name]Phoebe[/name],[name]Penelope[/name] and [name]Ivy[/name]
the rest are ok
I [name]LOVE[/name] your taste in girls’ names! Fantastic list. My suggestion re [name]Lorelei[/name] is that you decide what nickname you want to use for her, and share that with family and friends when she’s born to avoid her being called by other things (at least to a degree). What about [name]Rory[/name], [name]Lili[/name] (lee-lee), [name]Lorel[/name] or [name]Laurel[/name], [name]Lolo[/name], [name]Lolly[/name], [name]Rora[/name], etc.
If I named a daughter [name]Lorelei[/name], I would nickname her [name]Lore[/name], and encourage others not to say [name]Lorie[/name], just [name]Lore[/name]. The first name [name]Loire[/name] is popular in the Netherlands, and I think it’s a lovely name. However, I have 4 great sons with another on the way, so I might not get a chance to name a daughter at all.

There’s no reason [name]Lorelei[/name] needs a nickname. I get tired of the assumption that people need a nickname. I know two Elizabeths, two Margarets, and a [name]Rebecca[/name] who all go by their full time.
That being said I could [name]Lore[/name] pronounced Loor being an automatic nickname of a kind but [name]Lori[/name]! I would be surprised if someone called [name]Lorelei[/name]/ai [name]Lori[/name]. I would just tell them it’s not my name.
Anyway my top five
[name]Viviana[/name]
[name]Cecilia[/name] or [name]Cecily[/name] or [name]Felicity[/name]
[name]Lorelai[/name]
[name]Daphne[/name]
(Note I would pick one from [name]Cecilia[/name] or [name]Cecily[/name] or [name]Felicity[/name], they seem too similar to use them all. I love them all so I placed them equally. )
Good [name]Luck[/name]!
Can’t seem to quote properly but I agree wholeheartedly with emilyva: “There’s no reason [name]Lorelei[/name] needs a nickname. I get tired of the assumption that people need a nickname.”
Although not nescessarily in this order, for my top 5 would be [name]Lorelei[/name], [name]Cecily[/name], [name]Ivy[/name], [name]Felicity[/name], and [name]Cecelia[/name]. [name]Lorelei[/name] could be called [name]Lee[/name]-[name]Lee[/name], but I personally think it is too pretty to have a nickname for. If that was my name, I would want people to call me [name]Lorelei[/name] and nothing else.
[name]Lorelei[/name] is in our top 10. If we used it, we would use the nickname [name]Lola[/name] or not use a nickname. I think you can stop people from using nicknames simply by saying, “She doesn’t go by [name]Lori[/name]” or “We just call her [name]Lorelei[/name].”
