I need opinions!

[name_m]Hi[/name_m]! I’m narrowing down my favorite names for when the time comes and would love some opinions on them. My top four are:

[name_f]Arielle[/name_f] [name_u]Loren[/name_u] (ah-ree-el lor-en)
[name_u]Riley[/name_u] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] (rye-lee jayd)
[name_f]Talia[/name_f] [name_u]Blue[/name_u] (tah-lee-a bloo)
[name_f]Liora[/name_f] [name_f]Brighton[/name_f] (lee-aur-ah bry-ton)

I’m not sold on the mn for [name_f]Liora[/name_f] or [name_f]Talia[/name_f] ([name_u]Blue[/name_u] seems so tacky but I oddly like it with [name_f]Talia[/name_f]), so suggestions would be great. Or suggestions in general. Tell me what you love, hate, and are “meh” about! Thanks in advance

[name_f]Arielle[/name_f] [name_u]Loren[/name_u] -I like [name_f]Arielle[/name_f], but I prefer the middle spelled [name_f]Lauren[/name_f].
[name_u]Riley[/name_u] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] - I prefer [name_u]Riley[/name_u] on a boy, but nice combo
[name_f]Talia[/name_f] [name_u]Blue[/name_u] - I like this!!!
[name_f]Liora[/name_f] [name_f]Brighton[/name_f] - Strangely, I like this too. [name_f]Brighton[/name_f] is nice on a girl (:0)

Thank you so much for your reply!
I chose [name_u]Loren[/name_u] because my SO’s mn is [name_m]Lorenzo[/name_m] or I might’ve gone with [name_f]Lauren[/name_f].
Thanks for your insight again!

[name_f]Arielle[/name_f] [name_u]Loren[/name_u] – Nice names, but there is a little too much “l” here for me. [name_f]Arielle[/name_f] [name_f]Brighton[/name_f] would be better.
[name_u]Riley[/name_u] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] – I like [name_u]Riley[/name_u], but I have never liked [name_f]Jade[/name_f]. Overall, the combo sounds a little too trendy (or something like that that I just can’t put a finger on). I like [name_f]Jade[/name_f] better with [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] or [name_f]Talia[/name_f].
[name_f]Talia[/name_f] [name_u]Blue[/name_u] – I agree with you, there is something charming about this combo! I like it a lot.
[name_f]Liora[/name_f] [name_f]Brighton[/name_f] – [name_m]Both[/name_m] of these names are stunningly lovely. I just don’t like them together. This is probably because all I see is “bright light.”
[name_f]Liora[/name_f] [name_f]Fern[/name_f] or [name_f]Liora[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] would be nice! I think [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] [name_f]Brighton[/name_f] would be very pretty as well.

You might also like the names [name_f]Linnea[/name_f] (lin-NAY-uh) and [name_f]Bronte[/name_f] (bron-tee).

I like the combo [name_f]Talia[/name_f] [name_u]Blue[/name_u] the best, followed by [name_f]Arielle[/name_f] [name_u]Loren[/name_u].

[name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_f]Brighton[/name_f] on a girl too!! [name_f]Brighton[/name_f] is one of my favorite first names for girls. [name_f]Liora[/name_f] [name_f]Brighton[/name_f] sounds really nice together. However, objectively, [name_f]Liora[/name_f] is gorgeous and based on [name_f]Laura[/name_f], which makes it familiar enough not to be weird.
[name_f]Talia[/name_f] [name_u]Blue[/name_u] is a very well balanced and smooth combo even though it isn’t my taste, I do appreciate it and it’s sound.
[name_u]Riley[/name_u] [name_f]Jade[/name_f], again, awesome flow and use of sound with the vowels. I love the name [name_f]Jade[/name_f] for a middle spot. [name_u]Riley[/name_u] is not my favorite, but it is a nice combo.
You’re a great combo maker.
[name_f]Arielle[/name_f] is so pretty but I am not sure if [name_u]Loren[/name_u] is pronounced as loh-[name_m]RENN[/name_m] or lor-[name_m]RENN[/name_m], or just like [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] but the same syllable stresses if that makes sense??
[name_f]Arielle[/name_f] [name_u]Loren[/name_u] said as lor-[name_u]REN[/name_u] with stress on the second syll is a gorgeous first and middle choice.

Thanks so much for your insight, everyone!

[name_f]Talia[/name_f] [name_u]Blue[/name_u] is regularly not my style… well, [name_f]Talia[/name_f] is, but I think [name_u]Blue[/name_u] is tacky, but I just fell in love with the combo. Interesting to see some of you feel the same!

@sunshine - [name_f]Arielle[/name_f] [name_f]Brighton[/name_f] is definitely a nice suggestion, thanks!

@ashleyjuliette - Thank you so much for your compliments! It’s lor-[name_m]RENN[/name_m], kind of [name_m]French[/name_m]-ish. My worry with [name_f]Arielle[/name_f] [name_u]Loren[/name_u] is that it sounds beautiful when I say it and it works the best with the last name, but I feel like it will always be pronounced as [name_u]Ariel[/name_u] [name_f]Lauren[/name_f]. Which I suppose is similar, but I adore [name_f]Arielle[/name_f] [name_u]Loren[/name_u]

[name_m]How[/name_m] would we berries feel about [name_f]Brighton[/name_f] [name_u]Riley[/name_u] and [name_f]Liora[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f]?

Ohh, [name_f]Arielle[/name_f] [name_u]Loren[/name_u] is very alluring isn’t it! I’d hope that people don’t get the pronunciation of [name_u]Loren[/name_u] mixed up with [name_f]Lauren[/name_f], I didn’t think it would be an issue because of [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_u]Loren[/name_u], but maybe I’m wrong! Any way I see what you mean about [name_f]Talia[/name_f] [name_u]Blue[/name_u], it flows nicely and is lovely to say. [name_u]Blue[/name_u] on its own is a lil tacky as you said.
[name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_f]Brighton[/name_f]! [name_f]Liora[/name_f] [name_f]Brighton[/name_f] is adorable. Good luck!

I like [name_f]Arielle[/name_f] [name_f]Brighton[/name_f] or [name_f]Arielle[/name_f] [name_f]Avalon[/name_f]. I know these aren’t on your combo list, but I think they’re very pretty…otherwise, I’d choose [name_f]Arielle[/name_f] [name_u]Loren[/name_u].

[name_f]Arielle[/name_f] [name_u]Loren[/name_u] (ah-ree-el lor-en) - I like [name_f]Arielle[/name_f] and [name_f]Ariella[/name_f]. I’m not very keen on [name_u]Loren[/name_u] though. And the L’s tangle up somewhat. Would prefer [name_f]Arielle[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f].
[name_u]Riley[/name_u] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] (rye-lee jayd) - I really don’t care for [name_u]Riley[/name_u] on a girl. [name_f]Jade[/name_f] is nice though.
[name_f]Talia[/name_f] [name_u]Blue[/name_u] (tah-lee-a bloo) - I like [name_f]Talia[/name_f] better with the two-syllable Hebrew pronunciation, tal-ya. Still okay though. [name_u]Blue[/name_u] is not my favourite thing usually but something about [name_f]Talia[/name_f] [name_u]Blue[/name_u] works okay. I think it’s the image of ‘dew from heaven’ being so watery-rejuvenating and blue.
[name_f]Liora[/name_f] [name_f]Brighton[/name_f] (lee-aur-ah bry-ton) - I adore [name_f]Liora[/name_f]. A lot. Favourite. So much love for [name_f]Liora[/name_f]. [name_f]Brighton[/name_f] would have to be a family surname for me to consider it though. It’s nowhere near as pretty as [name_f]Liora[/name_f].

[name_f]Arielle[/name_f], [name_f]Talia[/name_f], and [name_f]Liora[/name_f] are very pretty names. [name_f]Liora[/name_f] especially is gorgeous, and I really like the meaning. [name_f]Brighton[/name_f] is too androgynous and stylistically mismatched for the middle name though. [name_f]Liora[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] is very nice though.

[name_f]Arielle[/name_f] [name_u]Loren[/name_u] (ah-ree-el lor-en) - lovely names on it own, but -el and -en runs into each other
[name_u]Riley[/name_u] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] (rye-lee jayd) - trendy
[name_f]Talia[/name_f] [name_u]Blue[/name_u] (tah-lee-a bloo) - may be trendy, but I like this one, but prefer [name_f]Thalia[/name_f] spelling
[name_f]Liora[/name_f] [name_f]Brighton[/name_f] (lee-aur-ah bry-ton) - pretty, although [name_f]Brighton[/name_f] is bit trendy.

My fave is [name_f]Liora[/name_f] [name_f]Brighton[/name_f].

I’m actually doing the same thing, trying to narrow it down is tough! Anyways…

[name_f]Arielle[/name_f] [name_u]Loren[/name_u] (ah-ree-el lor-en)- I really do like [name_f]Arielle[/name_f], I think it’s pretty and feminine and is something that is different but not overly unusual. I think it’s pretty paired with [name_u]Loren[/name_u], although I prefer the traditional spelling. However since it’s a middle name the spelling won’t be as much of an issue.

[name_u]Riley[/name_u] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] (rye-lee jayd)- I actually prefer [name_u]Riley[/name_u] as a boy’s name, but this is mostly because I love the name [name_m]Rye[/name_m] (on a boy). This one is probably my least favourite of your combos simply because I find both names very “trendy” with not a lot of substance. Perhaps you could change the combos up?

[name_f]Talia[/name_f] [name_u]Blue[/name_u] (tah-lee-a bloo)- Oddly I like this. I think [name_f]Talia[/name_f] is pretty, although I like [name_f]Thalia[/name_f] too. [name_u]Blue[/name_u] is a cute middle name and it is something unique which I quite like, plus I find colour names intriguing. However if you want something similar that isn’t “tacky” as you’ve put it, maybe consider [name_f]Talia[/name_f] [name_u]Rue[/name_u] or even [name_f]Talia[/name_f] [name_u]True[/name_u].

[name_f]Liora[/name_f] [name_f]Brighton[/name_f] (lee-aur-ah bry-ton)- I love [name_f]Liora[/name_f], such a beautiful choice, it may have some pronunciation issues however. I’m not a fan of [name_f]Brighton[/name_f], but it seems more masculine to me, although I think as a combo it could work.

Thank you all for your opinions, again!

I think I favor [name_f]Liora[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] now. Does anyone have suggestions on a mn or first name for [name_f]Brighton[/name_f]?

[name_f]Arielle[/name_f] [name_u]Loren[/name_u]- [name_f]Arielle[/name_f] and [name_u]Loren[/name_u] are both very pretty names and they sound wonderful together! I prefer the simpler ‘[name_u]Ariel[/name_u]’ spelling, though. [name_u]Loren[/name_u] is more attractive to me than [name_f]Lauren[/name_f].
[name_u]Riley[/name_u] [name_f]Jade[/name_f]- I don’t like [name_u]Riley[/name_u] on a girl, and whenever it’s used I feel as if it’s super-trendy. I’m not sure if there’s any way to get around this. I love [name_f]Jade[/name_f], but prefer [name_f]Jada[/name_f].
[name_f]Talia[/name_f] [name_u]Blue[/name_u]- This would have to be my favorite, although I usually don’t like color names other than [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_u]Cerulean[/name_u].
[name_f]Liora[/name_f] [name_f]Brighton[/name_f]- This one has a completely different feel than your other combos. I’m not quite sure how I feel about [name_f]Brighton[/name_f], but I would love to see a little [name_f]Liora[/name_f] running around, and the names fit very well together.
