Okay, so I haven’t posted in this section yet so no one knows anything about my story. There are three characters I really need named.
It is in the medieval days, the three characters who need naming aren’t really ‘main’ characters but they are really important. The place they live is not really real. There was recently a coup and the heir to the throne was forced to flee (she is the main character), the new ruler is trying to get allies out of other countries and therefore she need lots of money, so she raises taxes and anyone who can’t pay is killed and their land is taken.
That is what happened to the three characters which I am trying to name. I will explain their personalities and such, I think I have already thought of a name for the oldest, but I am open to other options.
The oldest - 13 years old - He has green eyes and brown, sorta shaggy hair. Being the oldest he is fiercely protective of his little siblings, he takes his responsibility very seriously. He used to be a carefree little boy but since his parents died, he is ‘head of the family’ and therefore much more serious than he used to be, and he rarely smiles. He also hunts, which is really poaching and therefore illegal. His name right now is [name]Wolf[/name], but like I said I am open to other suggestions.
The middle one - 11 years old - He has greenish, blue eyes and sandy colored curly hair. Unlike his older brother he is still a little boy, but he looks up to his older brother and tries to be like him. He was obviously hurt my his parents death and is now quite shy and reserved, but at the same time he is very sweet and boyish. Since his brother has to hunt a lot of the time he has to take care of their little sister and he is very gentle, and sweet, and protective of her. He is also apprenticed to a leather-worksman to help get money for his family. The names I have considered for are [name]Felix[/name] and [name]Rory[/name], I want something short, cute, and boyish.
The littlest one - 6 years old - She has blue eyes, and almost glowing, blonde, curly hair. She is very shy, and fragile. After her parents died she sort of went into a shell and is very withheld, she rarely talks. She is happiest when in a meadow of flowers, alone. She also loves animals and has a connection with them. I want an unusual flower name for her, so not [name]Violet[/name], [name]Rose[/name], [name]Daisy[/name] or something like that.
@nicoleb519 Thanks for the opinion’s, I also really like [name]Rory[/name], but one of [name]Gale[/name]'s little siblings in the ‘Hunger Games’ has that name, do you think that would be a problem? And I would like a flower name more unusual than [name]Daisy[/name], like [name]Senna[/name] or [name]Pansy[/name] or something like that. And I would like a more uncommon name than [name]Jack[/name] for the oldest. But thank you so much!
Hmmm…I didn’t finish the Hunger Games books because I didn’t enjoy them. So I didn’t remember a [name]Rory[/name]. But maybe since it’s a popular series, you should use something different.
I looked up flower names:
[name]Blossom[/name]
[name]Bluebell[/name]
[name]Clover[/name] (I like this one.)
[name]Lily[/name] (Popular in real life, but it could suit the character.)
[name]Marigold[/name] (nn [name]Goldie[/name]?)
[name]Poppy[/name]
[name]Senna[/name]
[name]Tulip[/name]
[name]Zinnia[/name]
For the oldest one I thought about [name]Mason[/name] or [name]Leo[/name]… [name]Wolf[/name] sounds too much like the animal to me…
The middle one… I like [name]Felix[/name] or [name]Paul[/name]… [name]Rory[/name] feels girly to me because it can be a nickname for [name]Aurora[/name]…
For the little girl, I loved the suggestion of [name]Clover[/name]! It was the name of my favorite TV character when I was a little kid! If it is still too common, maybe: [name]Elodie[/name] (It’s actually a medieval name, means marsh flower), and [name]Lilac[/name] or [name]Lilou[/name] (instead of the more popular [name]Lily[/name]).
I think the oldest should have a strong name, similar to @nicole 's [name]Jack[/name], but more uncommon. [name]Sean[/name]? [name]Wyatt[/name]? [name]Rhys[/name]? As for the middle, I think you’re on the money with [name]Rory[/name]. Yes, I know, it’s a Hunger Games name, but the character is near irrelevant and only the biggest of fans (me) will see the connection. And the little girl - I’m in love with [name]Clover[/name]. So pretty and cute, and I think it suits her perfectly. [name]Hope[/name] this helps, good luck!
I vote [name]Wolfgang[/name] for the oldest with nn wolf or Ceder. For the middle, I rather like [name]Rory[/name], and for the youngest I’d vote [name]Alys[/name], [name]Felicity[/name] nn Lissy, [name]Lavender[/name], or [name]Lavinia[/name]
@strixoniro, I really like [name]Conan[/name]. I also really like Roran, but that is one the main character’s in Eragon, I think I’ll just stick with [name]Rory[/name]. As for the youngest [name]Tansy[/name] is so cute but I think I like [name]Lilac[/name] and [name]Clover[/name] a little better, I just have to decide between the two!
@lovelywren, Hmmm, [name]Wolfgang[/name] good one. I think I am defiantly going with [name]Rory[/name]. Thanks for the cute names for the little one!
So here we go,
The oldest - Either [name]Mason[/name] or [name]Conan[/name]
The middle - [name]Rory[/name]
The youngest - Either [name]Lilac[/name] or [name]Clover[/name]
Maybe I should do a poll?

[name]Everett[/name]
[name]Oliver[/name]
[name]Alec[/name]
[name]Xander[/name]
[name]Theron[/name]
[name]Martin[/name]
The middle one - 11 years old - He has greenish, blue eyes and sandy colored curly hair. [name]Theodore[/name]"[name]Teddy[/name]"
[name]Thaddeus[/name]
[name]Taylor[/name]
[name]Rory[/name]
[name]Thayer[/name]
[name]Wylie[/name]
[name]Rupert[/name]

[name]Juniper[/name]
[name]Linnea[/name]
[name]Geneva[/name]
[name]Magnolia[/name]
[name]Amaryllis[/name]
[name]Marigold[/name]
[name]Aster[/name]
[name]Fawn[/name]
[name]Hadley[/name]
[name]Heather[/name]
[name]Bailey[/name]
[name]Tulip[/name]
The oldest–I love [name]Mason[/name], but I think you might be able to find something better. [name]Jack[/name] has a good sound to it, but every other fantasy hero is named [name]Jack[/name], so definitely something other than that. [name]Caleb[/name], maybe? Or [name]Rhys[/name]?
The middle–[name]Rory[/name] is definitely a great choice!
The youngest–I like [name]Clover[/name] better than [name]Lilac[/name], personally.
[name]Just[/name] my two cents, though. Good luck!
I’ve decided to go with [name]Conan[/name], [name]Rory[/name] and [name]Lilac[/name]! Thank all so much for your help and putting up with my indecisiveness!
