I need YOUR brutally honest opinion

Hello Berries!
So I have just redone my signature and I tried to go with more bolder choices. I’m trying to expand my horizon and maybe look into new names and new combinations.

I was wondering if they’re actually good combos, if they flow, have a decent connotation, etc.
So can y’all please judge my signature. What do you like? What do you hate? What would you rearrange? Any feedback on the names/combos? What are your first impressions?

All I’m asking is your opinion. [name_m]Don[/name_m]’t be afraid to be brutal. I haven’t really used any family names so you can bash them if you want lol. If you have any name suggestions that seem to fit my wonky style please comment them.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and write a comment!
[name_f]EL[/name_f]

Being totally honest, they seem like average run-of-the-mill nameberry names. I was a little shocked seeing how many of the names aren’t in the top 1000 considering how often they come up on here. Many seem to follow the popular formula of offbeat/historical + word name. It’s not really my style. I don’t think any of them are bad names, but I do get the impression that you actively tried to go with bold choices.

I do like [name_m]Percival[/name_m] [name_m]Pike[/name_m], [name_u]Keegan[/name_u] [name_m]Ozias[/name_m], and to some degree Zoetica [name_u]Frost[/name_u]. [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f] strikes me as a male name and I can’t say I like it for a girl, but do like it for a boy.

@electric_sheep
Yeah now I see that they are pretty average for nameberry users. I am not a fan of names so strange and out there that I could never use; I try to make combos that would actually be usable. Of course I would have to tweak them a little bit and add a family name here or there.

I have figured out that I like unisex names on girls. I feel like strong need a little extra strength to their names and some boy names seem to have that.

[name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f] is a type of flower so that why it in my opinion would be weird on a boy but it does seem like a very masculine word.

Thank you for commenting!

Combos I like:

[name_m]Seamus[/name_m] [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m]
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] Thistle
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f]

All of these have a fresh, outdoorsy, Celtic sort of vibe, which I like.

Least favorite:

Zoetica [name_u]Frost[/name_u]- I like [name_u]Frost[/name_u], but dislike Zoetica, it sounds like a medicine/brand to me
Everson [name_m]Apollo[/name_m]- I don’t care for Everson, it looks made up to me. It could be a legitimate name with history of use, I don’t know, but it looks like a modern invention.
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] Bexley- [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] is nice, but dislike Bexley

[name_m]Favorite[/name_m] individual names in no particular order:

[name_m]Shepherd[/name_m]
[name_m]Emrys[/name_m]
[name_u]Frost[/name_u]
[name_m]Percival[/name_m]
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u]
[name_m]Seamus[/name_m]
[name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m]

To rearrange:

[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] Wildflower- kind of froofy and maybe childish for some tastes but I like the carefree, whimsical feel that it gives.

[name_m]Emrys[/name_m] [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m]- I love [name_m]Seamus[/name_m] [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m] and don’t really see [name_m]Emrys[/name_m] [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m] as an improvement, but an equally nice name!

@yuma
I have definitely found myself drawn toward Irish names so that’s good that people get the Celtic vibe

Omg your right Zoetica does sound like a medicine brand lol. Now I’m not sure if I like it…
I agree Everson does look made up but at the same time I quite like the name and I just research it and it technically is a name, just not one Nameberry recognizes. But I don’t really want my future kid to have a weird, made up name, so it might be on the guilty pleasure list now.

I love [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] Wildflower- it really does have the imaginary, storybook feel!
[name_m]Emrys[/name_m] [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m] is just plain handsome! I love it!

Thank you so much!

Boys:
[name_u]Everest[/name_u] [name_m]Quill[/name_m]: I think this would flow better as [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Quill[/name_m]
[name_m]Lysander[/name_m] [name_m]Arrow[/name_m]: nice
[name_m]Atlas[/name_m] [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m]: not a huge fan of shepherd, but nice combo
[name_m]Judah[/name_m] [name_m]Emrys[/name_m]: I love both names but I don’t think they flow that well together. Also both are pretty soft and gentle, so I would choose a stronger name to pair with each of them. I think they are better suited as brothers than together in a combo.
[name_m]Percival[/name_m] [name_m]Pike[/name_m]: I think [name_m]Pike[/name_m]'s imagery is too strong and violent with [name_m]Percival[/name_m]
Everson [name_m]Apollo[/name_m]: love [name_m]Apollo[/name_m], but like pp, Everson seems made up to me
[name_m]Phinean[/name_m] [name_m]Conall[/name_m]: not a fan of [name_m]Phinean[/name_m] (or [name_m]Phineas[/name_m] for that matter), just doesn’t look nice to me. [name_m]Conall[/name_m] seems incomplete, I feel like it should be McConnell or McGonagall or something.
[name_u]Keegan[/name_u] [name_m]Ozias[/name_m]: [name_u]Keegan[/name_u] just feels like a trendy name to me and has a really harsh sound. [name_m]Ozias[/name_m] is too out there for me.

Girls:
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f]: both names are not names that really flow to me, like the second syllable is more a forced syllable than one that rolls of the tongue so I wouldn’t pair them together.
[name_f]Persephone[/name_f] [name_u]Fiadh[/name_u]: [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] is a little too much for me, though [name_u]Fiadh[/name_u] is nice
[name_u]Artemis[/name_u] [name_f]Luna[/name_f]: too much moon, but love [name_u]Artemis[/name_u]!
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] Bexley: have never been a fan of [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f], it’s feels like taffeta and tulle and just too frilly. Bexley seems made up to me, but it sounds ok.
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] Thistle: gorgeous
Zoetica [name_u]Frost[/name_u]: Zoetica seems made up. I agree with pp that it sounds like a medication, but it does remind me of [name_f]Zelda[/name_f]. [name_u]Frost[/name_u] is lovely.
[name_f]Raina[/name_f] [name_f]Scotland[/name_f]: maybe a little image heavy, because [name_f]England[/name_f]/[name_f]Scotland[/name_f]'s weather is so strongly associated with rain.

I am in love with them all! I especially adore [name_u]Everest[/name_u] [name_m]Quill[/name_m], [name_m]Judah[/name_m] [name_m]Emrys[/name_m], [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f] & [name_u]Artemis[/name_u] [name_f]Luna[/name_f].

Your signature names are just fine, don’t worry. Many of them fit on here just fine.

@scater
Not a fan of [name_u]Everett[/name_u] just bc I knew a kid named that and he wasn’t the greatest

For [name_m]Judah[/name_m] [name_m]Emrys[/name_m], I see where you’re coming from- they do seem very soft together. Maybe [name_m]Judah[/name_m] [name_m]Percival[/name_m] and [name_m]Emrys[/name_m] [name_m]Pike[/name_m]?

[name_m]Pike[/name_m] is a type of fish and I actually thought is was more of a calm name, but it’s interesting that you see it as violent. It’s good to know other people perspectives.

For [name_m]Phinean[/name_m] I was trying out a new spelling for [name_m]Finian[/name_m] but it’s does look kinda odd so I might just stick with [name_m]Finian[/name_m]. [name_m]Conall[/name_m] has a personal meaning to me, but I do understand where you’re coming from- it does sound incomplete

[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f] is kinda a tongue twister so I might have to change that. They both do have very strong sounds

Didn’t think of the moon connection with both [name_u]Artemis[/name_u] and [name_f]Luna[/name_f] so thanks for bringing that up

I will be taking Zoetica off my signature bc I don’t really like it anymore

[name_f]Raina[/name_f] means queen and [name_f]Scotland[/name_f] has a personal meaning to me but yeah They [name_f]May[/name_f] not be the best combo so I might do some rearranging.

@celes
Thank you!
And I love love love [name_f]Astoria[/name_f] [name_f]Maven[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u]!

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.

Here are my thoughts:

Boys-

[name_u]Everest[/name_u] [name_m]Quill[/name_m]-I’m not sure about this. [name_u]Everest[/name_u] sounds a little pretentious. And [name_m]Quill[/name_m] just reminds me of an old time-y pen.

[name_m]Lysander[/name_m] [name_m]Arrow[/name_m]-I’m not a huge of [name_m]Lysander[/name_m] either. I can’t really tell you why. I’m really loving [name_m]Arrow[/name_m] lately though. Very cool!

[name_m]Atlas[/name_m] [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m]-[name_m]Atlas[/name_m] is great. It’s got a good kind man feel, but manly enough. It’s also sort of mysterious sounding. I don’t care for [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m]. It’s just too biblical sounding for me, even though I like plenty of biblical names like [name_u]Asa[/name_u], [name_u]Ira[/name_u], [name_m]Jacob[/name_m], [name_m]David[/name_m] etc. Maybe [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] [name_m]Apollo[/name_m]? Too much?

[name_m]Judah[/name_m] [name_m]Emrys[/name_m]-I like [name_u]Jude[/name_u]. I like [name_m]Jonah[/name_m]. For some reason I can’t get into [name_m]Judah[/name_m]. Emyrs is all right. I think that this combination flows quite nicely though.

[name_m]Percival[/name_m] [name_m]Pike[/name_m]-[name_m]Percival[/name_m] is so cute. Is it too cute? I don’t know. I think the right guy could wear it well. [name_u]Percy[/name_u] is sweet. I also love the nn [name_m]Pip[/name_m]. I don’t care for the P.P initials though.

Everson [name_m]Apollo[/name_m]-I don’t know that I like Everson. [name_m]Just[/name_m] sounds sort of trendy.

[name_m]Phinean[/name_m] [name_m]Conall[/name_m]-I would love this if it were [name_m]Finnian[/name_m] [name_m]Conall[/name_m]. Both great names. I really like [name_m]Phineas[/name_m], but [name_m]Phinean[/name_m] looks off. I think it reminds me of alien.

[name_u]Keegan[/name_u] [name_m]Ozias[/name_m]-[name_u]Keegan[/name_u] is just awfully trendy.

[name_m]Seamus[/name_m] [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m]-I love [name_m]Seamus[/name_m]! Very handsome. This is a nice combination too.

Girls-

[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f]-I like [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] a lot for a boy. [name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f] is kind of cool for a mn.

[name_f]Persephone[/name_f] [name_u]Fiadh[/name_u]-I can’t get into [name_f]Persephone[/name_f]. I think it reminds me of [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f], which is just dated. I do think that [name_u]Fiadh[/name_u] is sooo cute though.

[name_u]Artemis[/name_u] [name_f]Luna[/name_f] -[name_u]Artemis[/name_u] (nn [name_u]Ari[/name_u] . ) . is my boy cat’s name. I know that it’s usually a girl, but I think it sounds masculine. [name_f]Luna[/name_f] is super trendy. I know like five or six dogs named this.

[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] Bexley - Bexley is weird, but [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] is darling. I like [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] [name_f]Elowen[/name_f].

[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] Thistle -[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] is very pretty. Thistle is a little odd.

Zoetica [name_u]Frost[/name_u] -I don’t even know how to pronounce this. It’s a little too much.

[name_f]Raina[/name_f] [name_f]Scotland[/name_f]-Meh, [name_f]Raina[/name_f] isn’t that attractive to me for some reason. And [name_f]Scotland[/name_f] is just weird for a girl.

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.

[name_u]Everest[/name_u] [name_m]Quill[/name_m] - I think this is a very handsome name! [name_u]Everest[/name_u] feels adventurous and outdoorsy and [name_m]Quill[/name_m] flows nicely with it. I adore this combo!

[name_m]Lysander[/name_m] [name_m]Arrow[/name_m] - I’m not a big fan of [name_m]Lysander[/name_m], it always makes me think of Lysol. So that’s a no for me, but [name_m]Arrow[/name_m] is cute!

[name_m]Atlas[/name_m] [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] - I really love [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] but [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] seems to come on a little too strong as the middle name. Perhaps [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] [name_m]Emrys[/name_m], [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] [name_m]Conall[/name_m], [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] [name_m]Arrow[/name_m], or [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] [name_m]Ozias[/name_m]?

[name_m]Judah[/name_m] [name_m]Emrys[/name_m] - I agree with the pp; I also prefer [name_u]Jude[/name_u] and [name_m]Jonah[/name_m] over [name_m]Judah[/name_m]. It’s not a terrible name though, just nms. I do adore [name_m]Emrys[/name_m] though! [name_m]Jonah[/name_m] [name_m]Emrys[/name_m] would be a handsome combo!

[name_m]Percival[/name_m] [name_m]Pike[/name_m] - [name_m]Percival[/name_m] is adorable and I actually dig the double initials. I think [name_m]Perceval[/name_m] [name_m]Pike[/name_m] is perfect!

Everson [name_m]Apollo[/name_m] - I actually love Everson and I think you should stick with it if you love it too! Alternatively, you could switch [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] to your male list. I think Everson [name_m]Apollo[/name_m] has a nice flow to it, although, Everson [name_m]Arrow[/name_m] is also cute!

[name_m]Phinean[/name_m] [name_m]Conall[/name_m] - I also agree that the [name_m]Finian[/name_m] or [name_m]Finnian[/name_m] spellings are better, but there’s nothing particularly wrong with [name_m]Phinean[/name_m] either. [name_m]Conall[/name_m] seems a little short for the middle name though. Perhaps [name_m]Phinean[/name_m] [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m]?

[name_m]Seamus[/name_m] [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m] - My favorite on your male list! Absolute darling name!

[name_u]Keegan[/name_u] [name_m]Ozias[/name_m] - [name_u]Keegan[/name_u] is cute! Nms but cute! Who cares if it’s a little trendy right now? [name_u]Keegan[/name_u] [name_m]Ozias[/name_m] is a really interesting combo too. I think it works well!

[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f] - I love [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] but I’m not sure it flows well with [name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f].

[name_f]Persephone[/name_f] [name_u]Fiadh[/name_u] - [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] is beautiful, but [name_u]Fiadh[/name_u] makes for too many EE sounds at the end when combined. Persepho-nEE [name_u]FEE[/name_u]-a. It’s a bit of a tongue twist there.

Maybe switch to [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_u]Fiadh[/name_u] and [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] [name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f]? Or maybe that’s too much of a mouthful for [name_f]Persephone[/name_f]…? Not sure, but [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_u]Fiadh[/name_u] is cute!

[name_u]Artemis[/name_u] [name_f]Luna[/name_f] - Adorable. I love this one!

[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] Bexley - I adore [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]! Not so much Bexley. It sounds a bit made up. Perhaps [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] [name_u]Bailey[/name_u] or [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] [name_u]Lexie[/name_u] for a similar sound? Or even just [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] Bex? I’ve seen Bex as a nn for [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f], so it feels more usable to me than Bexley does.

[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] Thistle - Gorgeous! Another favorite on your list!

Zoetica [name_u]Frost[/name_u] - [name_f]Glad[/name_f] to see this one coming off the list. I gotta agree it sounds too made up. I’m also not big on [name_u]Frost[/name_u] as a girl’s name.

[name_f]Raina[/name_f] [name_f]Scotland[/name_f] - I love [name_f]Raina[/name_f]! I’m a little iffy on [name_f]Scotland[/name_f] but it’s interesting and could definitely grow on me.

[name_u]Emerson[/name_u] Wildflower - I actually prefer [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] as a boy’s name, but it does make a good tomboyish name for a girl. Wildflower I’m not too keen on though. Wildflower doesn’t really strike me as a name. I actually adored the previous combo you had in your sig, [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] [name_f]Lilac[/name_f].

@michellem
I didn’t realize [name_u]Everest[/name_u] sounded snobby. That’s interesting. Thank you for mentioning that

I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_m]Atlas[/name_m] [name_m]Apollo[/name_m] but it may be a bit much to live up to.

I really like alliterations but I didn’t think of the P.P initials and I know kids would make fun of that so I’ll have to rearrange

I didn’t realize [name_u]Keegan[/name_u] was so trendy. I have loved the name forever and I really like the meaning.

Most people say that [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] is better on a boy, but I read a book and the main character was a girl named [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] and I just fell in love with it.

I adore the nn [name_u]Ari[/name_u]! And I think it’s adorable for a cat! [name_f]Luna[/name_f] is really in right now but it kinda has a personal meaning to me. Hopefully by the time I have kids it goes out of style.

I can’t decide if I like Bexley. Most people hate it, but I like the nature connection. [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] is stunning!

Once again this name has a personal connection to my family (whoops didn’t realize how many names have a personal meaning to me). Thistle is a connection to [name_f]Scotland[/name_f] and it’s my favorite flower. So I thought it was a beautiful, yet unique flower name. I do get that it can seem odd tho.

I will be getting rid of Zoetica but I do really like [name_u]Frost[/name_u] for a boy or girl middle

Yes I agree the more I look at [name_f]Raina[/name_f] the more it’s not my fav. And I don’t understand how [name_f]Scotland[/name_f] is weird for a girl but [name_u]London[/name_u] isn’t. Idk it’s just me but again [name_f]Scotland[/name_f] has a personal connection to me so I’m gonna keep it.

@trulybrilliant
I starting to think [name_m]Lysander[/name_m] might have too harsh of a sound for a little boy, so I might change hat. Perhaps [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] [name_m]Arrow[/name_m]???

I love the name [name_m]Jonah[/name_m] but there was this crazy boy in my class and his name was [name_m]Jonah[/name_m], so it’s not someone I could want my son named after. And I really like the connection to [name_m]Judas[/name_m] with [name_m]Judah[/name_m] even though almost everyone will hate that connection. It has more of a personal meaning to me.

I have fallen in love with [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] as a girl name. I think it sounds feminine and carries strength. It also contains part of my dads name so it would be used in his honor.

You and I must be those rare people that don’t really care if a names trendy right now. I know the name will go out of style, so I will keep [name_u]Keegan[/name_u] on the list.

Yeah I agree, [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_f]Hyacinth[/name_f] is a mouthful- it just has too many strong syllables. I adore [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_u]Fiadh[/name_u] tho!

I think I might get rid of [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f] Bexley. I really like the nn [name_f]Lula[/name_f] but I think I like it as a nn for [name_f]Louise[/name_f] better.

I was just trying out Wildflower. If I actually used it on a baby it would be with another middle.

Thank you both!!!

I really like your naming style; it’ll be hard to pick some of my favourites! I’ll do my top two for each gender.

[name_u]Everest[/name_u] [name_m]Quill[/name_m] - I really like the flow of this one! The down-to-earth [name_m]Quill[/name_m] tempers the bold [name_u]Everest[/name_u].

Everson [name_m]Apollo[/name_m] - I love the name [name_m]Apollo[/name_m], and it sounds lovely with Everson. I think this is possibly my favourite.

[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] Thistle - This one is stunning! [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] is one of those names that Berries adore but that has never appealed to me, but it sounds unbelievably beautiful with Thistle! What a soft nature-themed combo!

[name_u]Artemis[/name_u] [name_f]Luna[/name_f] - I like the sound of this one, but because [name_u]Artemis[/name_u] was the moon goddess in Greek mythology, this name coupled with [name_f]Luna[/name_f] seems like… Too much moon? It’s a lovely name in everything but etymology, though.

I also love [name_m]Finian[/name_m] Wildflower and [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_u]Fiadh[/name_u]!

I love your style of pairing Celtic and nature names!

@josephinedagnall
Thank you!
i am now realizing that [name_u]Artemis[/name_u] [name_f]Luna[/name_f] is just too much moon lol, so i will be changing that.

[name_u]Everest[/name_u] [name_m]Quill[/name_m] - I love [name_u]Everest[/name_u], so handsome and strong. [name_m]Quill[/name_m] is okay and does work as a middle, but it’s not my favourite option.

[name_m]Lysander[/name_m] [name_m]Arrow[/name_m] - I like both names, but not together I’m afraid. It kind of feels like you just want two unusual names and put them together.

[name_m]Atlas[/name_m] [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] - Now this I love! I adore [name_m]Atlas[/name_m]. [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] is super handsome too.

[name_m]Judah[/name_m] [name_m]Emrys[/name_m] - I don’t like either of these I’m afraid. [name_m]Judah[/name_m] makes me think of [name_m]Judas[/name_m].

[name_m]Percival[/name_m] [name_m]Pike[/name_m] - [name_m]Percival[/name_m] is a little too out there for me although I do see some appeal. [name_m]Pike[/name_m] is kind of an insult around where I live so it doesn’t have any positives for me I’m afraid.

Everson [name_m]Apollo[/name_m] - Everson is nice. It’s my style, but I don’t like it as much as I like [name_u]Everest[/name_u], [name_u]Everett[/name_u], or [name_u]Emmett[/name_u]. [name_m]Apollo[/name_m] is not for me.

[name_m]Finian[/name_m] [name_m]Conall[/name_m] - I love this! However it does remind me of singer Finneas O’[name_m]Connell[/name_m] (who is the brother of [name_u]Billie[/name_u] [name_f]Elish[/name_f]). Not a bad thing though.

[name_u]Keegan[/name_u] [name_m]Ozias[/name_m] - I like [name_u]Keegan[/name_u], it’s very handsome. I can’t say I’ve heard [name_m]Ozias[/name_m] before though, and I’m not really a fan.

[name_m]Odin[/name_m] [name_m]Flint[/name_m] - I don’t like [name_m]Odin[/name_m], it’s a bit something-or-nothing. [name_m]Flint[/name_m] could be nice, with the right first name.

[name_m]Hamish[/name_m] Arleau - I’ve never liked [name_m]Hamish[/name_m]. Not only does it look like [name_m]HAM[/name_m]-ish rather than HAY-mish, but the ‘ish’ sound is just a bit, meh, for me.

[name_m]Finnick[/name_m] Evergreen - This is a great combo. I’d prefer [name_m]Finnegan[/name_m] or [name_m]Finian[/name_m], but the combo together is strong.

[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_u]Fiadh[/name_u] - I want to love this so bad! But although I love both separately, I don’t really think they go together.

[name_f]Persephone[/name_f] [name_f]Luna[/name_f] - This works. I prefer [name_f]Luna[/name_f] as a first, and [name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] would actually be lovely. But this works regardless.

[name_u]Artemis[/name_u] [name_f]Briar[/name_f] - I love [name_f]Briar[/name_f]. I can’t get around [name_u]Artemis[/name_u]. It doesn’t feel like a girls name to me. [name_f]Artemisia[/name_f] could be a step in the right direction, but I’m not really a fan of that either.

[name_f]Freya[/name_f] [name_f]Lark[/name_f] - This is lovely. Sweet and simple, but effective.

[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] Thistle - My favourite. I love [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], and Thistle is such a brave middle without being too crazy. The imagery is beautiful.

[name_f]Scotland[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] - I like this. [name_f]Scotland[/name_f] is a brave first name but definitely not unusable. [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] is a great balance in the middle.

Elleya Bexley - This one is a bit made up to me. I’ve liked Bexley in the past and still do a bit. Perhaps Elaya would make all the difference, as it seems the more ‘real’ spelling.

@carysmarie
[name_m]Lysander[/name_m] [name_m]Arrow[/name_m] I guess can be a mouthful. I think the problem is [name_m]Lysander[/name_m] bc it has such a strong sound. I am currently looking for a first name that goes better with [name_m]Arrow[/name_m]

I actually like the connection between [name_m]Judah[/name_m] and [name_m]Judas[/name_m]. I’m not gonna go on a rant but it does have some meaning to me.

I didn’t know [name_m]Pike[/name_m] was an insult in some places- that might mean I need to scrap it altogether and make it a guilty pleasure.

I had no idea that [name_u]Billie[/name_u] [name_f]Elish[/name_f]’s Brother was named that. I’m young and know who [name_u]Billie[/name_u] [name_f]Elish[/name_f] is so I’m not sure I like that connection…

You’re right, [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_u]Fiadh[/name_u] does sound a bit funky. Maybe [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_f]Tempest[/name_f]???

I’m not sure why people think [name_u]Artemis[/name_u] is a boys name- it’s the name of a Greek goddess so to me it’s a girls name.

Thank you!
