[name_f]Saskia[/name_f] ([name_f]Sukey[/name_f]) - It’s pretty, but I’m generally not a fan of this name.

[name_f]Aviva[/name_f] - I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] this. At one time, it was on our short list. Fiance has since decided he doesn’t like it.

[name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] ([name_f]Lula[/name_f]) - [name_m]Gilmore[/name_m]! Yes!. Not sure about [name_f]Lula[/name_f] as a nickname,

[name_f]Isadora[/name_f] ([name_f]Zadie[/name_f]) - this is such an underrated name. Beautiful! [name_f]Zadie[/name_f] makes me think of my fiance’s grandfather though.

[name_f]Delilah[/name_f] ([name_f]Lula[/name_f], [name_f]Della[/name_f]) - I think [name_f]Lila[/name_f] makes more sense as a nickname. [name_f]Della[/name_f] is cute though!

[name_f]Calliope[/name_f] ([name_f]Poppy[/name_f]) - pretty! I love the [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] as a nickname!

[name_f]Saffron[/name_f] (Saffy) - not really a fan, sorry.

[name_f]Zinnia[/name_f] - makes me think of [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]. (It was the mother’s name).

[name_f]Hermione[/name_f] ([name_f]Minnie[/name_f]) - I think this set would be VERY hard for a child or adult to wear. Both names are very highly associated with a character (the mouse and the [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] character). Pretty names though.

[name_f]Athena[/name_f] ([name_f]Nina[/name_f]) - Pretty, as is [name_f]Nina[/name_f] for the nickname.

[name_f]Peridot[/name_f] ([name_f]Dotty[/name_f]?, [name_u]Poe[/name_u]) - makes me think of the dentist.

[name_f]Thessaly[/name_f] ([name_f]Tessa[/name_f], [name_f]Tess[/name_f]) - beautiful! Another underrated name. I love [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] too!

[name_f]Annika[/name_f] - beautiful! I had an [name_f]Anika[/name_f] in my class last year. It’s unique but still recognizable.

[name_u]Ariel[/name_u] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] this one!

[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] ([name_f]Aura[/name_f]) - pretty!

My favorites are [name_f]Annika[/name_f], [name_f]Thessaly[/name_f], [name_f]Aviva[/name_f] and [name_f]Isadora[/name_f].

[name_f]Saskia[/name_f] ([name_f]Sukey[/name_f]) - I do not like this nickname but the name I love and always have. It’s a sweet spot name that is familiar but unique.
[name_f]Aviva[/name_f] - Too unfamiliar for me and a bit awkward to say.
[name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] ([name_f]Lula[/name_f]) - I like the name but not the nickname.
[name_f]Isadora[/name_f] ([name_f]Zadie[/name_f]) - I am intrigued by the name but I struggle with pronunciation. Hard S vs. soft. “EE” vs. “ih”.
[name_f]Delilah[/name_f] ([name_f]Lula[/name_f], [name_f]Della[/name_f]) - Because of the Biblical root I don’t like this but it’s nice phonetically.
[name_f]Calliope[/name_f] ([name_f]Poppy[/name_f]) - [name_f]Every[/name_f] friend who gets a kitten names it [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] lately…

[name_f]Annika[/name_f] - I like it, another familiar yet unique name. However I don’t like it pronounced ON-ika. Should be [name_f]ANN[/name_f]-ika imo.
[name_u]Ariel[/name_u] - I like it and am an unabashed Mermaid fan.
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] ([name_f]Aura[/name_f]) - Beautiful, bit hard to say. [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t like the nickname.

I really like [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f]! I rather the nn Leilo to [name_f]Lula[/name_f] though.

[name_f]Saskia[/name_f] ([name_f]Sukey[/name_f]) - I adore [name_f]Saskia[/name_f], it’s utterly gorgeous! I also love nickname [name_f]Sukey[/name_f], but I don’t think it really works as a nickname for [name_f]Saskia[/name_f], they just feel too different in sound
[name_f]Aviva[/name_f] - gorgeous sound, but always reminds me of the insurance agency, and I can’t get past that connection (that might only be a problem in the UK though)
[name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] ([name_f]Lula[/name_f]) - I adore [name_f]Lula[/name_f], it’s such a fun and elegant nickname, but I’m not a fan of [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f]. This is also another case when I think the nickname is too much of a stretch
[name_f]Isadora[/name_f] ([name_f]Zadie[/name_f]) - [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] is such a strong and elegant name, and I like that you’ve given it such a sassy and upbeat nickname! My personal favourite nicknames for [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] have been [name_f]Dodie[/name_f] and [name_f]Sosie[/name_f], but [name_f]Zadie[/name_f] works perfectly and I think it’s becoming my favourite now!
[name_f]Delilah[/name_f] ([name_f]Lula[/name_f], [name_f]Della[/name_f]) - [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] is fun and cute and charming, and I love nickname [name_f]Della[/name_f] for it, but again I think [name_f]Lula[/name_f] is too much of a stretch
[name_f]Calliope[/name_f] ([name_f]Poppy[/name_f]) - [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] is so elegant yet bright and fun! It’s a lovely name. I also adore [name_f]Poppy[/name_f], but I think it’s a huge leap from [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] to [name_f]Poppy[/name_f], I don’t think the nickname works here.
[name_f]Saffron[/name_f] (Saffy) - [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] nn Saffy is just adorable and charming and wonderful!

[name_f]Athena[/name_f] ([name_f]Nina[/name_f]) - I’ve always loved [name_f]Athena[/name_f], but I’ve never found a nickname I like for it, but [name_f]Nina[/name_f] is perfect! This is just absolutely wonderful!
[name_f]Peridot[/name_f] ([name_f]Dotty[/name_f]?, [name_u]Poe[/name_u]) - [name_f]Peridot[/name_f] never feels particularly feminine to me, the sound just doesn’t appeal. [name_f]Dotty[/name_f] is a cute nickname, but [name_u]Poe[/name_u] reminds me of the Teletubbies and [name_m]Edgar[/name_m] [name_m]Allan[/name_m] [name_u]Poe[/name_u]
[name_f]Thessaly[/name_f] ([name_f]Tessa[/name_f], [name_f]Tess[/name_f]) - I want to like [name_f]Thessaly[/name_f], but it just looks a little messy to me. [name_f]Tess[/name_f] is an adorable nickname, but I find [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] a little middle-aged sounding
[name_f]Annika[/name_f] - this has such a warm and friendly sound, I really like it
[name_u]Ariel[/name_u] - it’s too unisex for my tastes, but I like the Disney princess connection
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] ([name_f]Aura[/name_f]) - [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] is lovely and I like the nickname [name_f]Aura[/name_f]. I know people on this site often say it’s hard to say, but I’ve never found that, it’s just a beautiful and very princess-y name!
