I’m in a bit of a pickle. Lately I’ve really been feeling the name [name_u]Cameron[/name_u]. I like the fact that it’s Scottish, starts with a C, and that it is 3 syllables. I just can’t seem to find a middle name to pair with it. In theory, I like names with some umph, such as [name_m]Lysander[/name_m], [name_m]Augustus[/name_m], and [name_m]Cadogan[/name_m]. The issue is, I can’t really connect these names. After two days I tire of them.
Names that are sort of bland, though, make me feel a little bit fuzzier. Boring names like [name_m]David[/name_m], [name_m]Scott[/name_m], and [name_m]John[/name_m].
I’m having trouble finding a nice balance between the bland and the fun. A name that’s not too funky, but not too dull.
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you know of any names that are in the middle? Any suggestions for a middle for [name_u]Cameron[/name_u]?
The first name that came to mind was [name_m]Leopold[/name_m]. [name_u]Cameron[/name_u] [name_m]Leopold[/name_m]. With [name_m]Leo[/name_m], it’s a bit bland in the traditional name sense but with -pold, it makes it more fun.
I think [name_u]Cameron[/name_u] has a bit of an umph to it as well. Maybe you are just moving into a phase where you like more “normal” and unassuming names as mn with more umph-filled firsts.
[name_m]Don[/name_m]’t stress about it too much. I actually really like [name_u]Cameron[/name_u] [name_m]Jones[/name_m] or [name_u]Cameron[/name_u] [name_m]Elijah[/name_m].
I agree that [name_u]Cameron[/name_u] has umph of it’s own.
What about [name_u]Cameron[/name_u] [name_m]Davis[/name_m]? Slight spin on [name_m]David[/name_m]
of [name_u]Cameron[/name_u] [name_m]Jonah[/name_m] or [name_u]Cameron[/name_u] [name_m]Jonas[/name_m]? Slight spin on [name_m]John[/name_m]
I like [name_u]Cameron[/name_u] [name_m]Scott[/name_m] as well.
Wow- there are some great suggestions. I’m glad to see people think [name_u]Cameron[/name_u] has some umph on it’s own.
[name_m]Leopold[/name_m], [name_m]Jones[/name_m], [name_m]Thane[/name_m], [name_m]Harris[/name_m], [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] and [name_u]Jude[/name_u] are all wonderful suggestions.
[name_u]Cameron[/name_u] [name_m]Davis[/name_m] is amazing, I love it.
I like [name_u]Cameron[/name_u], but what about [name_f]Camber[/name_f]? More distinctive, but you could still use the nn [name_u]Cam[/name_u]. Or maybe [name_m]Callum[/name_m]?
In terms of middles, [name_u]Cameron[/name_u] [name_m]Alistair[/name_m]?
