I will say one thing. Two years ago, I named my son [name_u]Sage[/name_u]. I knew it was unisex, slightly more used for girls, and I think [name_u]Arden[/name_u] may be a similar case.
So far, we’ve ONLY come across other girl Sages. While everyone seems to love his name, I do get “oh, for a BOY?” fairly often! When I was pregnant, I thought I was gonna be totally fine with it, but not having come across a single other boy [name_u]Sage[/name_u] IS starting to bother me. I’d love [name_u]Arden[/name_u] on a boy, but I’ve only come across it on girls so far. Something to think about.

I agree with you - [name_u]Arden[/name_u] is uncommon for both genders, so I think most people you’ll run into won’t have ever met an [name_u]Arden[/name_u] before which means they won’t really associate it with one gender. [name_u]Arden[/name_u] [name_m]William[/name_m] is a great combo and a great way to get your nature name in there!

Interesting! I have met girls named [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] (my sons name) and it just makes me feel bad for the girls really. Thanks for the input though and I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] the name [name_u]Sage[/name_u] on a boy
