I want to call my second boy Haley?

i never liked [name_u]Haley[/name_u] on girls and people give girls “boy only” names all the time so go for it

I think [name_u]Haley[/name_u] on a boy is just fine, especially spelled this way (as opposed to [name_f]Hailey[/name_f]/[name_f]Hailee[/name_f]/[name_f]Hayley[/name_f])

It should be fine, although I will say [name_u]Haley[/name_u]/[name_f]Hayley[/name_f]/[name_f]Hailey[/name_f]/[name_f]Hailee[/name_f]/etc are still very popular for girls. The numerous spellings make it look less popular than it is.

I think [name_u]Haley[/name_u] was originally primarily a boy name. I could see it on a boy for sure. I agree that children in his class won’t be named [name_u]Haley[/name_u] as often now and he stand a fair chance of putting his own identity on it.

I like it. I suppose when I hear [name_u]Haley[/name_u] I think of [name_f]Hallie[/name_f] berry first of all so in my head it does seem more of a girls name but it is unisex. Suppose it falls into the category or names like [name_u]Taylor[/name_u] or [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] widely used as girls and boys name. I’ve heard much more stranger names and to be honest most names now are being used more widely as unisex. If you like it then I don’t see a problem but it all comes down to are you ok with the possible mix up of gender on hearing his name.

I think as long as you use the spelling [name_u]Haley[/name_u] it should be okay - it seems like the most masculine spelling to me. I think it’ll be okay - for example, there’s a boy at my school whose name is pronounced [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] (I know it’s spelled different) and it seems like he’s turned out fine

I actually really like [name_u]Haley[/name_u] as a boy’s name! Moreso than as a girl’s name. It is also not unheard of, given [name_u]Haley[/name_u] [name_m]Joel[/name_m] [name_m]Osment[/name_m] as already mentioned.

I think it is fairly feminine in association but I see why you like the sound of it. Why not explore [name_u]Henley[/name_u] or [name_u]Harley[/name_u] or [name_u]Rylie[/name_u].

[name_u]Haley[/name_u] is extremely popular where I live. There are many variants of spelling which make it feel more popular.

It’s not bad for a boy but I prefer [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] or [name_u]Bailey[/name_u].

Does anyone watch the Big Bang?

Howard and Bernadette’s baby on “The Big Bang Theory” arrived and it’s a girl.
Howard and Bernadette arrived at the perfect name: Halley. “Like Halley’s comet,” Leonard said.

The next predicted perihelion of Halley’s Comet is 28 July 2061, when it is expected to be better positioned for observation than during the 1985–1986 apparition, as it will be on the same side of the Sun as Earth.

[name_u]Haley[/name_u] is a girls name…don’t do that to him.

I like it for a boy. I think of [name_u]Alex[/name_u] [name_u]Haley[/name_u]. I would pair it with a definitively masculine name.

Would you consider [name_u]Harley[/name_u]? It sounds similar, but works better as a boy’s name. My vote is for [name_u]Harley[/name_u].
