I’ve been looking back and typing these out throughout the afternoon.
@laugh-dream-love:
I really like that you continued the middle initials for each gender; I think that’s a nice way to tie the kids together, especially since we’re a blended family. As far as the individual names, I really like [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] [name_m]Malachi[/name_m]. [name_m]Graeme[/name_m], [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] and [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] are great, too. A lot of the “tte”-ending girls are really matchy for me. Although I adore them - all of them! - I think it might be time to break that theme. I love that you suggested [name_f]Sonya[/name_f] for a middle, as that’s one of my grandmothers’ names. [name_f]Annemarie[/name_f] is fabulous.
@chellemma1:
I really like [name_m]Ezra[/name_m], [name_m]Henry[/name_m], [name_m]Simon[/name_m], [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] and [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]! Thanks.
@kyemsma:
[name_m]Henry[/name_m] and [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] again! Yay. Again, love them, though popularity is semi-concerning to me. I totally love [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]. He’s one of those names I once found a bit stuffy, but I’ve come around to his charm.
@lovemysweeties:
I have an irrational dislike for [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f], but maybe I’ll try and rethink it. [name_f]Natalie[/name_f]'s one of my all-time favorites. Thanks.
And [name_u]Darren[/name_u]! Wow! That really intrigues me as a midcentury option. What do other Berries think of him, I wonder? Too dated?
@[name_u]Remy[/name_u]:
[name_m]Geoffrey[/name_m], [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] and [name_m]Ruben[/name_m] (what do you think of the Hebrew [name_m]Reuven[/name_m]?) have just the kind of vibe I’m looking for. Something about [name_m]Geoffrey[/name_m] with the “G” is so much more attractive and literary-sounding than the “J” version. And I adore [name_f]Helena[/name_f], [name_f]Leora[/name_f] (I always forget I like [name_f]Leora[/name_f]!), [name_f]Renata[/name_f] and [name_f]Yvaine[/name_f].
@[name_u]Haley[/name_u]:
Hmm! I never thought of [name_u]Niall[/name_u]! Is the spelling not intuitive enough for [name_u]North[/name_u] Americans, though, d’you think? Better as [name_u]Neil[/name_u]? I like that less, but it does have the [name_u]Neil[/name_u] Gaiman tie, which I love. [name_u]Everett[/name_u] is really nice, but already used in my family, sadly. [name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_f]Lavinia[/name_f]. [name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_f]Agatha[/name_f], too, but husband hates it.
[name_f]Christiana[/name_f] is pretty, but I dunno if it’s too… well, [name_m]Christian[/name_m] for us.
@larkub:
Thank you for the compliment!
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] and [name_f]Marjorie[/name_f] are fabulous! I am a huge fan of [name_f]Eve[/name_f], too, and I’d use it up front but I fear it might be too short?
@basilla:
[name_m]Felix[/name_m], [name_m]Gideon[/name_m], [name_m]Julius[/name_m] and [name_m]Otto[/name_m] are all straight from my list, so I guess you have me pegged! [name_f]Annika[/name_f] is one I’ve been flirting with… really like it with [name_f]Fleur[/name_f].
I will try to get to the rest of you folks’ wonderful suggestions later. Lots to think about.
