So, I know someone with the name [name_f]Paulina[/name_f] pronounced Powlina. (She’s Spanish) but I know a celebrity with the name Paulina and she pronunces it [name_f]Pawlina[/name_f]… Now I’m confused how to Pronounce it?? Someone help

It depends on the language.
In [name_m]French[/name_m] and I’m pretty sure also in"regular" English you would pronounce it “[name_f]Pawlina[/name_f]”.
In [name_m]German[/name_m] and Spanish it’s “Powlina”.
I don’t know about other languages but I hope this makes you less confused :slight_smile:

I don’t think you are saying it wrong because it could be pronounced either way. I think the general pronunciation is [name_f]Pawlina[/name_f] but you mentioned the person you know with this name is Spanish. I think it has to do with culture, language and pronunciation.
