As I am trying get to tweak a few names, I really value others opinions. I don’t do full names often, so I wanted to know if you thought these names work together. Last name is a common W name.
[name_f]Lovely[/name_f] lovely! These are wonderful names, I love how you’ve paired them up. The different syllable first and middles sound very good. And I love your style. I especially love the boys names
@adklined I find all your pairings are excellent. I have many of the names on my lists as well and I wish I could do as well. Easy to recognize not so easy to create.
I really enjoy your names! They’re all pretty familiar while expressing a hint of mystery. Personal favorite is [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] [name_m]Amadeus[/name_m]. So. Incredibly. Handsome!
[name_f]Violetta[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is nice though I’d be interested to see how it works with a middle name less common than [name_f]Grace[/name_f].
[name_f]Lovely[/name_f] choices! The only one that jars me a bit is [name_m]Deacon[/name_m] [name_m]Mordechai[/name_m]. [name_m]Deacon[/name_m] is an obvious reference to the Church, whereas [name_m]Mordechai[/name_m] strikes me as being very Jewish. [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] [name_m]Amadeus[/name_m] is rich in [name_m]Christian[/name_m] meaning as well. I think it’s beautiful.
Thank you guys so much for your opinions! My family are not always in love with my names (and that’s putting it nicely) so sometimes I need to hear real objective opinions. You all are so wonderful!
[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] - This is so elegant and classic. I love [name_f]Rose[/name_f]- names, and [name_f]Elise[/name_f] is stunning. A lovely combo, though I prefer maybe [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f], [name_f]Rosanne[/name_f], or [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] over [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f].
[name_f]Violetta[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] - Another timless name, though I’d prefer to see [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. That being said, [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is growing increasingly popular now, so maybe [name_f]Violetta[/name_f] is the better choice.
[name_m]Deacon[/name_m] [name_m]Mordechai[/name_m] - I’ve not heard of the latter…and am not quite sure how to pronounce it! It does look handsome though, and [name_m]Deacon[/name_m] is a lovely first choice.
[name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] [name_m]Amadeus[/name_m] - I love [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m]. A sweet name.
[name_m]Gideon[/name_m] [name_m]Axel[/name_m] - I much prefer [name_m]Axel[/name_m] over [name_m]Gideon[/name_m] so would rather see [name_m]Axel[/name_m] [name_m]Gideon[/name_m].
[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] - I’m usually rather picky about [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] (and find I’m not a huge fan in general, but I do love the similar [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]!), but there’s just something so dainty and sweet and beautiful about [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f]! I love it a lot.
[name_f]Violetta[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] - I like [name_f]Violetta[/name_f] (more than [name_f]Viola[/name_f], anyhow), but I like simple [name_f]Violet[/name_f] the best of the three. I think [name_f]Violetta[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] balances out the rarity of [name_f]Violetta[/name_f] to the traditional feel of [name_f]Grace[/name_f], but I would prefer to see [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f], personally (plus, [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] and [name_f]Violet[/name_f] are adorable for sisters!).
[name_m]Deacon[/name_m] [name_m]Mordechai[/name_m] - I’m not a huge fan of [name_m]Deacon[/name_m], because it just sounds like a title to me (like he’s [name_m]Mordechai[/name_m] the [name_m]Deacon[/name_m], rather than a little boy named [name_m]Deacon[/name_m]? I don’t know. Maybe I’m being stupid.), but I do like the sound. I prefer the [name_m]Mordecai[/name_m] spelling to [name_m]Mordechai[/name_m], though.
[name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] [name_m]Amadeus[/name_m] - [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m], and [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_m]Amadeus[/name_m], but I don’t know if I’m a huge fan together? I’m not sure why–it sounds good, and it doesn’t feel over-the-top. I think it might actually be my second favorite combo (after [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f]!) on this list, though, the more I think of it. [name_m]Deacon[/name_m] [name_m]Mordechai[/name_m] has grown on me by leaps and bounds, too, though.
[name_m]Gideon[/name_m] [name_m]Axel[/name_m] - like both names, but I’m not sure about together. I think I’d like [name_m]Axel[/name_m] [name_m]Gideon[/name_m] more?
