Which do you like better?
[name]Ianthe[/name]. [name]Xanthe[/name] seems a bit awkward to me and [name]Ianthe[/name] is much softer and prettier with the meaning violet.
[name]Ianthe[/name]…both hard to say and kind of akward
I don’t find either hard to say (ee-an-thee and [name]Zan[/name]-thee)
I prefer [name]Xanthe[/name] though. I love the Z sound at the beginning and [name]Xan[/name] is a cute nickname.
I vote [name]Xanthe[/name]! The X is a really distinguished letter than you never ever see.
I love [name]Xanthe[/name]. It seems fresh with names like [name]Quinn[/name] or [name]Wren[/name].
[name]Xanthe[/name]! Definitely [name]Xanthe[/name], it’s a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine! It has such a distinct, original sound one of the very few, and underused x names that are beautiful!
I like both but think I prefer [name]Xanthe[/name]. If I used it I would nickname her [name]Thea[/name]!
[name]Xanthe[/name]. Having an ‘X’ name is cool.
[name]Xanthe[/name]–much easier coming off the tongue and a great name
Xanthe gets my vote for its exotic look, “Z” sound and creative flair! It has the cool “X” which is appealing. I also like it’s 2-syllable sound more than Ianthe. It’s particularly attractive for a fair-haired child as it means “golden” or “yellow”.
[name]Ianthe[/name], but I say ‘eye-anth-ee’. [name]Xanthe[/name] is lovely too.
