Eisa. She’s from Norse mythology.
[name]Isa[/name] is pronounced eeece-uh which is sweet, but I can’t think of any others, sorry.
[name]Isis[/name]. In some old documents (From when Egyptology was just getting off the ground as a Western craze in the Victorian [name]Era[/name]) its even spelt Icesis. Has nothing to actually do with ice but I like it.
[name]Iseult[/name] (Ee-salt) has a bit of an icy sound and like the related [name]Isolde[/name] (ee-zold, ee-zold-a, ee-sold…this one has a number of forms in various languages) is sometimes translated as “ice ruler.”
This is a blog I found interesting: Icie which I thought was cute. [name]Icy[/name] and [name]Icie[/name] did chart at one time in the US, but it was long ago.
Ooh-I didn’t even think of [name]Isis[/name]! This is exactly what I’m looking for! Thankyou so much!
[name]Icy[/name] - might be too out there though
Isley
Izefia
The Egyptian [name]Goddess[/name] named “[name]Isis[/name]” pronounced…Ice Iss
I recently learned the name [name]Kaisa[/name], which has that lovely sharp ‘ice’ sound. Can be spelled [name]Kajsa[/name] as well.
Ices
Icess
[name]Isaline[/name] (Eye-sa-lin) -
And I love the suggestion of [name]Kaisa[/name], though I prefer the [name]Kajsa[/name] spelling
Double post.
[name]Isolde[/name]. That could be pronounced 2 ways, I guess.
The name [name]Aisa[/name] (“ice-uh”) fits the bill as well.
