First, imagine your name is Mayuri and you live in [name_u]AMerica[/name_u] and are of mixed [name_f]Indian[/name_f] and American ethnicities. You don’t like your name or want to use a different one in school or professionally for whatever reason. My-oo-ree is how it’s pronounsed… Waht would be a good middle name for you? I prefer something western, very different sounding from Mayuri, preferably not too unusual, but flows well. Last name Virma. My favorites are Lorien and [name_f]Willow[/name_f] but I feel like they are too unconventional for somebody who has the name Mayuri.

Mayuri Lorien is definitely too “out there.” [name_f]Willow[/name_f] is relatively well known, thanks to several celebrity picks. If your concerned about its nature-y quality, consider Mayuri [name_f]Willa[/name_f].
[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] and [name_f]Elinor[/name_f] seem like good candidates for what you want; well-known, distinctly feminine, and very “western.” Mayuri [name_f]Elinor[/name_f] has the best flow, imo.
I really like Mayuri [name_f]Willow[/name_f], and I think [name_f]Willow[/name_f] might be a lot more conventional than you might expect! It was ranked #171 in the U.S. last year for popularity and is ranked higher in most other English-speaking countries, and I think it will continue to rise in the U.S. There are a few celebrity children and characters in the media named [name_f]Willow[/name_f] as well, so I think it’s even more familiar to people than its popularity may let on.
I agree with Mayuri [name_f]Elinor[/name_f]–I think that spelling works better than Mayuri [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], but both are lovely.
Mayuri [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] and Mayuri [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] are great choices too.
Mayuri Skye (Isle of Skye, a very popular and trending name and I have some Scotch in me)
Mayuri Eleanor (I prefer the more original style spelling)
Mayuri Isabel (I have always liked that name, it’s classic, and it flows well and sounds different from Mayuri)
If we choose Mayuri, one of the above names will be the middle name.
