I have three children and we are very much thinking of having a fourth (not pregnant yet haha)! Being a name lover, of course I want to brainstorm names! So, what would you name Violet, Hugo and Darcy’s little sister? My list so far:
Alice - has been top of my list for every pregnancy. Was ruled out by my husband because it’s similar to Alison (BIL’s sister who has passed away)…but I don’t think this is such an issue any more.
Beatrix - love this name, and I love Beatrice too, but a cousin has a daughter named Beatrice, so that’s out (ETA: Beatrice is out, not Beatrix).
Iris - too much with a daughter named Violet?
Jane - simple and elegant. Too simple? Not sold on a one syllable name.
Pearl - see above.
Susannah - I’ve loved this name forever. Would have named my daughter this if I had to choose her name in utero. But she came out with lots of dark hair and we decided Violet was a better fit!
All of our children have two middles. They are:
Violet Elizabeth Rose
Hugo Alexander John
Darcy Samuel James
So this one would have two middles too. Options…
Antonia - DH’s grandmother’s name
Audrey - my grandmother’s name
Augusta - August is a meaningful month for us

I think [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] would go nicely with [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and makes a good honor name since [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] means [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]. Here’s my ideas:

I know you asked whether [name_f]Iris[/name_f] and [name_f]Violet[/name_f] are too much together, but my mind instantly made a connection between [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] (both are charatcters in Pride and Prejudice written by [name_f]Jane[/name_f] Austen). It is not a bad thing at all but maybe something to keep in mind. And while [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is a lovely name, I agree it is perhaps a bit too simple next to [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] and [name_u]Darcy[/name_u].
I’ve said this before but I love your children’s names! From your list, I adore Alice, Beatrix, Iris (no, I don’t think it’s too much with Violet at all) and Pearl, and think any one of these would finish off your sibling set beautifully. Considering Alice and Beatrix don’t seem to be real options I’ll make combos for Iris and Pearl only.

One combo that stood out to me was [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Antonina[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f], though I’m not sure how many honour names you’d like to include, of course.

[name_f]Jane[/name_f]! I love seeing [name_f]Jane[/name_f] considered, and I think it would be perfectly charming in your set. [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f] would fit well, too. And I love [name_f]Susannah[/name_f], but it seems incredibly lengthy next to the other three – maybe better as a mn as it sounds just right with [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], and [name_m]Samuel[/name_m]. But I also love the grandmother names for the middle options, too.
Speaking of your mn options, would you consider [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] or [name_u]Louise[/name_u] as firsts? Because I love them for your set, too! (I’d avoid [name_f]Jane[/name_f] as a second middle because then [name_f]Rose[/name_f] would be the odd one out.)
