cestiline (ses-till-een) dove
Immediately I think of the Sistine Chapel. While the imagery is not bad, for me, this is just too much name. Dove on the other hand is so very pretty.
xanthia willow
Xanthia, again is a lot of name. It’s unusual and long. It makes me think of Xanax which is a drug used to treat anxiety and depression. Something I do like about Xanthia is how it lends itself to the nick name Thea which is so cute. I really like Willow too.
vidia wren
Vidia is a mean little air fairy on the Tinkerbelle movies. I love the sound of Vidia, and the mean fairy does end up coming around, so it isn’t exactly a “villian” name. Vidia has almost a song quality to it. While being 3 syllubles, it doesn’t feel heavy and “too much” as some longer names can be, and for ending in the ah sound, it still manages to be quite a strong sounding name. Even though it is not a classic, it kind of feels like it could be. Wren is not my favorite. However, with Vidia it does sound quit balanced.
lavender clarice
Lavander will forever make me think of Harry Potter. Lavander Brown was the girl Ron Weasley dated before Hermione Granger. I think Lavander is a pretty name. Clarice is going to always make me think of Silence of the Lambs… which i’venever even seen. It’s just that famous. Something to think about with this combination… Lavander Brown in Harrpotter died in the last book after falling from a balcony, and then being attacked/bitten by a werewolf in human form… Clarice is from famous novels and movies about cannibalism. Anyone who reads, may be slightly horrified/conflicted about this combination. Pair Lavander with one of your other middle names, and I don’t think it will be so gruesome. Even going with Claire would disconnect the association i think.
belletrix indie
Belletrix is another Harry Potter character. This one savage, and twisted. Very much a villain. However, the name itself is lovely. Harry Potter is a very famous book that will be read for a long time coming. You should decide if you want your child associating with this character or not. Indie is not my style personally. I think it is better suited for a boy. It makes me think of Indiana Jones. If your going for that adventure/khaki vibe… why not try Bindi, which is super close and associated with positive role model Bindi Irwin. Nature lover adventurist.
indigo maia
This combo screams Inigo Montoya another name from pop culture… the Princess Bride. Famouse line, “My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.” I just can’t really get behind this. I’m sorry.
fiona ash
This is a really interesting choice. Fiona, thanks to Shrek makes me think of a princess… and Ash of course makes me think of fire. So a fiery princess… Pretty neat imagery. I like this one exactly how it is. See Ginny below for the “every daughter” association, because I feel like it fits here too.
genovive liana
I think you should stick to the spelling Genevieve. But otherwise I love this first name. Ginny (another Harry Potter Name…) is a great nick name. If you have read Harry Potter and not just seen the movies, you’ll know that Ginny is kind of the daughter we all want. She is fiesty, can hold her own, athletic, still very much a girl, and just all around well balanced. Thats what i picture with Genevieve. Other nick names of course are Eve, Evie, Evia.
Liana is a name that i have gone back and forth on myself. It is very similair to Game of Throne’s Lyanna which is used for 2 characters… it’s still on going so I won’t give spoilers, but so far both Lyanna’s seem to be nice name sakes. Together this name seems very long and heavy. Personally, would pull Liana from the middle name spot, and consider it for a first name.
Sierra vale
Sierra is one of those names that no matter how many times you hear it, it will always be beautiful. It’s naturey, familiar, feminine rugged. Like, i could imagine a gorgeous woman giving rafting tours in Colorado named Sierra. Would definitely make a great name for the heroine of an adventure packed romance movie. Isn’t that what we all want? A romantic adventure packed life? So pretty. I don’t really think Vale does justice for Sierra. What about Sierra Dawn? Or Sierra Dove from the first name you picked? So pretty.
So, if I may…
Vidia Wren
Lavander Claire (Lavander Willow, Lavander Esme, Lavander Kit)
Fiona Ash (Fiona Gray)
Genevieve Willow (Genevieve Gray)
Liana Wren (Liana Dove)
Sierra Dove (Sierra Dawn)
Twin sets:
Vidia and Genevieve
Fiona and Genevieve
Sierra and Fiona
Sierra and Vidia
Vidia and Lavender
Lavander and Liana
Genevieve and Liana
Sierra and Genevieve (Only reason why this is last, is because Sierra is so stunning, and Ginny while i love it, seems a little more plain, and would likely be used a lot more than her whole name… I think Genevieve is gorgeous and stands up to Sierra well, but Ginny maybe would be over shadowed. Sierra and Eve perhaps would be better suited, but i don’t know. I love Ginny so much. )
