If baby is a boy

[name_f]My[/name_f] husband and I won’t find out if the baby we are currently expecting is a boy or a girl until [name_f]July[/name_f]. However, we have narrowed our list down to three picks for each gender. Would love your opinions and thoughts. Middle name would be to honor family, so I’m just looking at first names. Thanks in advance!

[name_m]Jack[/name_m] - this has a lot of meaning/significance to my hubby and it has grown on me recently. I know that it’s popular, but I’ve been in education for the last five years (ranging from being around children aged 3-18) and have yet to meet a [name_m]Jack[/name_m]. The only [name_m]Jack[/name_m] that I know in real life is a year or two older than me.

[name_u]Owen[/name_u]
[name_m]Lachlan[/name_m]

  1. [name_u]Owen[/name_u] - [name_u]Love[/name_u]! It’s at the top of my list.
  2. [name_m]Jack[/name_m] - I really like this as well.
  3. [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] - This is not my style at all.

I adore [name_m]Jack[/name_m]!!

[name_m]Jack[/name_m]
Like you said, it seems popular but its really not that common (where I live anyway).
[name_u]Owen[/name_u] would be my second choice, [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] is not my style.

[name_m]Jack[/name_m] and [name_u]Owen[/name_u] are both handsome, safe choices, as they’re among the most fashionable vintage names right now.

If you’re in [name_u]America[/name_u], which I’m guessing since you don’t spell “honor” with a “u” :), [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] would be a riskier – albeit cool – international choice.

[name_m]Jack[/name_m] is my personal favorite.

I absolutely love [name_m]Jack[/name_m], [name_u]Owen[/name_u], and [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m]. It sounds like [name_m]Jack[/name_m] is very special to you, I would go with that. Or [name_m]Jack[/name_m] [name_u]Owen[/name_u] [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m].

Thanks for all of the input! Your thoughts are very helpful to me and will help us make the right choice, if this little one is a boy.

[name_m]Jack[/name_m] is fantastic!

I like [name_m]Jack[/name_m], maybe go with [name_m]Jackson[/name_m] as full name and [name_m]Jack[/name_m] as NN.
[name_u]Owen[/name_u] is good, not sure about [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m], maybe [name_m]Declan[/name_m].

I adore [name_u]Owen[/name_u]!

[name_m]Lachlan[/name_m]- my favorite out of your 3. I love Scottish and Irish names. I would be concerned about pronunciation. I feel like a lot of People might get it wrong. [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] is Scottish. [name_m]Lochlain[/name_m] is Irish. [name_m]Both[/name_m] said like “loc-[name_f]Lin[/name_f]”. I love the nn [name_m]Locke[/name_m] or Loch for both. It’s also a final fantasy characters name. That might be why I like it so much. Lol.

[name_u]Owen[/name_u] - a close second!! Easy to say, and to love!!

[name_m]Jack[/name_m]- I had a jack in my preschool class once. It suited him well. But honestly I don’t like how it sounds j-ACK.
