Trying to choose a name for our baby. I thought we were pretty settled on [name_f]Adele[/name_f] but now it seems my husband is not so keen
I’d say our style is sweet and simple, feminine but not too frilly, traditional but not OTT old lady names…other names we both like are [name_f]Ida[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_u]Fern[/name_u], [name_u]Zoe[/name_u]
(but I want to use [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] as a middle which means [name_f]Ida[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] are out - and I don’t think I love [name_u]Fern[/name_u] or [name_u]Zoe[/name_u] enough to use them)
I also love [name_f]Carys[/name_f], [name_f]Elise[/name_f] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f] but s- ending names don’t work with our surname
Husband suggested [name_f]Petra[/name_f] the other day which I’m still mulling over but again doesn’t work with [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] as a middle…so many nice girls names end with an A!
So far nothing has stuck with me like [name_f]Adele[/name_f] so v grateful for any suggestions!
Firstly such a shame that your husband isn’t fully settled on [name_f]Adele[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Adele[/name_f] is beautiful.
You’ve got such a lovely selection of names! I really hope I can find some names that’ll work for you especially paired with the lovely middle name [name_f]Sarah[/name_f].
You’ve had lots of lovely suggestions so count any repeats as me being in agreement with the berries
This is similar to my own style. It’s lovely to see Sarah too, though tricky to work with as a middle name. I have some sweet and simple suggestions that don’t end in ‘a’.

*better flow to me, but it all depends on your last name and I think unless it’s truly absurd, it’s always good to use the honour second with the first name you love even if it’s a little clunky.
[name_f]Adele[/name_f] is very gorgeous! It’s a middle name for someone very dear to me and I always loved it. Very sweet, chic, elegant and just beautiful. She pronounces it as Adeelé. I would still use it, I’m sure he comes around. [name_u]Or[/name_u] he will get used to it.
Let me first just say, I think [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] is absolutely beautiful as a middle to first names that end in “a”. I wouldn’t hesitate at all, unless it rhymed like [name_f]Clara[/name_f] or [name_f]Tara[/name_f]. So I will still be suggesting some, along with names that don’t end in “a”.
