and [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] are there others that I’m missing? That sound similar or in the same vein? I’m naturally drawn to old lady names. [name_f]My[/name_f] first girl is [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] and I’m hoping to find a good one for girl two. Any and all thoughts will be greatly appreciated. Many many many thanks!
Old lady names are the best!! [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think you would like…
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], [name_f]Philippa[/name_f] ([name_f]Pippa[/name_f]), [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f], [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], [name_f]Margaret[/name_f], [name_f]Agatha[/name_f], [name_f]Elsa[/name_f], [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f], [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] (or [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]), [name_f]Virginia[/name_f], [name_f]Lydia[/name_f], [name_f]Edith[/name_f], [name_f]Astrid[/name_f], [name_f]Hazel[/name_f], [name_f]Frances[/name_f], [name_f]Francesca[/name_f], [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Winifred[/name_f], [name_f]Maude[/name_f], [name_f]Mabel[/name_f], [name_f]Catherine[/name_f], [name_f]Margo[/name_f], [name_f]Esther[/name_f], or [name_f]Agnes[/name_f]?
Yes, I like a lot of these names. Funny, not only do I like old lady names, but I must know a lot of folks who feel the same way. I know a number of baby [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], [name_f]Pippa[/name_f], [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f], [name_f]Margaret[/name_f], [name_f]Edith[/name_f] and Catherines. All great names. I also like [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] with all the cute nickname possibilities. And [name_f]Lydia[/name_f]. Thanks for the suggestions!
[name_f]Claudia[/name_f] doesn’t actually fit this style to me, it feels more modern. But here are some suggestions:

Hmmm …

[name_f]Iris[/name_f]
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f]
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]
[name_f]Francine[/name_f]
Of your choices I really like [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] - good luck!
OOh, old ladies names I have a fondness for them too!

Thanks so much all!!! These are great suggestions. I especially like [name_f]Louisa[/name_f], [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] (nn [name_f]Emmie[/name_f]) [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] (nn endless possibilities) [name_f]Willa[/name_f] and [name_f]Millicent[/name_f]. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think [name_f]Millicent[/name_f] it over-the-top old lady though? I love nn [name_f]Milly[/name_f]. I kind of like [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] as an alternative to [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], but I worry that the first and only thing someone thinks of with [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] is the [name_m]Peter[/name_m] Rabbit author. Is that silly? I’m thinking of making [name_u]Marion[/name_u]/[name_u]Marian[/name_u] a middle name ([name_u]Marian[/name_u] was my grandmother’s name) but haven’t figured out the right first name to make that work. Also, love [name_f]Philippa[/name_f]/[name_f]Pippa[/name_f] but worry about the obvious reference to the royal sister-in-law. Tough decisions! Thoughts?
I love your style!
[name_f]Esther[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]
[name_f]Clarice[/name_f]
[name_f]Francine[/name_f]

[name_f]Millicent[/name_f]
[name_f]Philomena[/name_f]
[name_f]Madeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Georgine[/name_f]
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Louella[/name_f]
[name_f]Harriette[/name_f]
[name_f]Marguerite[/name_f]
[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Pearla[/name_f]
[name_f]Thomasina[/name_f]
[name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f]
[name_f]Zelma[/name_f]
[name_f]Roseanne[/name_f]
I actually love [name_u]Marion[/name_u] as a first name since it has 3 syllables
[name_u]Marion[/name_u] [name_f]Florence[/name_f]
[name_u]Marion[/name_u] [name_f]Iris[/name_f]
[name_u]Marion[/name_u] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]

[name_u]Marion[/name_u] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]
[name_u]Marion[/name_u] [name_f]Helen[/name_f]
Here are some middle name ideas…
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_u]Marian[/name_u] nn [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] or [name_f]Nell[/name_f]
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_u]Marian[/name_u]
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_u]Marian[/name_u]
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f] [name_u]Marian[/name_u] nn [name_f]Hattie[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_u]Marian[/name_u] nn [name_u]Romy[/name_u]
