Girls names have been easier for us to settle on for some reason. 95% or more Northern European descent. Mostly Irish and [name_f]English[/name_f] for on my side, and half swedish half Scandinavian/british isles mutt on DH’s side.
[name_m]Lars[/name_m] will be the middle name for our first born if the medical sex at birth is male, after his uncle (our nephew has DH’s name as a middle already).
I love the name [name_m]Soren[/name_m], but I’m wary about ‘wasting’ two of the very few swedish boys names I like on the first born. We would like to have 2 or 3 kids, and we’d like to incorporate one swedish name into each of their names if possible.
Anyway, here’s the working list. Picture a very fair, blonde or high likelihood of redhead child… if that makes any difference in your preference!
Soren [name_m]Lars[/name_m] and [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]Lars[/name_m] are brilliant choices! [name_f]My[/name_f] third favorite is [name_m]Oskar[/name_m]/Oscar [name_m]Lars[/name_m].
I like [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] best you might also like [name_m]Otto[/name_m]? I know a little [name_m]Otto[/name_m] (4 yrs) and it really works on him.
I love [name_m]Soren[/name_m], [name_m]Otis[/name_m], [name_u]August[/name_u] and [name_m]Oskar[/name_m]/Oscar. If you’re worried about using two Swedish names on your firstborn if there aren’t many that you love I’d suggest you go with [name_m]Otis[/name_m], [name_u]August[/name_u] or [name_m]Oskar[/name_m]/Oscar. I absolutely love all three so, in my opinion, you can’t go wrong!
You have a great list! I especially love [name_m]Otis[/name_m], [name_u]August[/name_u], and [name_m]Oscar[/name_m]/Oskar–I think of those three, [name_m]Oscar[/name_m]/Oskar is my favorite with [name_m]Lars[/name_m] as a middle name!
