[name]Sylvia[/name] [name]Penrose[/name] sounds so sweet!
I like [name]Penrose[/name] a lot, actually–it has a lot of the same prim-and-proper, sweet, dignified charm [name]Primrose[/name] has, and I think [name]Sylvia[/name] [name]Penrose[/name] is lovely. I was quite tempted by [name]Helena[/name] [name]Penrose[/name], though!
Thanks [name]Ash[/name] : D!
PS I love [name]Sylvia[/name] [name]Penrose[/name] a lot from its meaning, too - lots of forest and heath together in that name : D! Although [name]Helena[/name] [name]Penrose[/name], too – light on the heath, sort of (same for [name]Lucia[/name]). Fun stuff!
I like [name]Naomi[/name] [name]Penrose[/name]. I also like [name]Penelope[/name] [name]Rose[/name] nn [name]Penrose[/name]
I chose [name]Helena[/name] [name]Penrose[/name] because I think it’s easier to say, at least with my accent. Where I’m from we pronounce all I’s like E’s ([name]Ben[/name] sounds like bin, [name]Jenn[/name] sounds like gin, when sounds like win, etc). All the other names have that I sound in it so that I just can’t help saying Pinrose! The [name]Helena[/name] part makes me pronounce it right (this is something I’ve had to work on, lol). [name]Sylvia[/name] Pinrose < Helena Penrose. Dumb, I know.
I looove Penrose tho! I’ve thought about using the name Penina Rosetta just to get to Penrose (while honoring a grandmother Etta and a BFF Pearl). Penelope Rose is totally brill.
Cheers!

Thanks all for the continued input! @poppy, that’s interesting, I have a similar accent and hadn’t noticed that effect with [name]Helena[/name]. It doesn’t really bother me with the other names, but that is something to think about. [name]Don[/name]'t live in a part of the world where that is widespread, but, good to note : D.
