“If you had to give your child a cowboy name, then what would you do?”
Fun little game idea if you’d like to play along. If you had to name your child a name that (in your opinion) fits within a category/theme given, then what would be the one top name you would give them? It’s ok to list a girl or a boy name, or both. It is also ok to list a first and middle name, or just the first.
The name(s) does not need to be a name that you would typically choose, or currently have at the top of your name list, or even on one at all. Rather, this is simply IF you had to pick a name that went along with the theme given, THEN the named you list is the one you’d choose for this circumstance.
(However, it’s of course possible that names you already like happen to also fit the category/ theme. If this is the case for you, it is still ok to use those names!)

With this prompt, I’d name my son [name_m]Otis[/name_m] [name_u]Wilder[/name_u] and my daughter [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f].
Both first names are some I just really love (though, [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] has an added tad of sentiment since she was on my parents’ list when naming my sister)! [name_u]Wilder[/name_u] is a long-time literary love and major family connection because of it. [name_f]Kate[/name_f] is an honor for a woman and family who’ve changed my life. So much love to represent with such a wee name. Overall, I’m real pleased with these sweeties.
