I am swooning over a boatload of girl names right now. There are so many lovely ones, ones that fit the style I am leaning towards of late. However, boys’ names have just always thrown me through a loop. I never seem to love them in the quantity that I do the girl names. So, in that spirit, I’m looking for boy name suggestions! I tend to like boy names that sort of sound like they could be used on elves in the forest, like Epicea, [name_m]Archer[/name_m], [name_m]Osiris[/name_m], [name_m]Wilder[/name_m], [name_u]Sage[/name_u], and [name_m]Apollo[/name_m]. Quite nature or literature inspired, but also incredibly unusual, like [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m] or Talisman as well.
I mentioned it in the girl’s thread as well because I feel like it works for both, but I am definitely digging Sparrowhawk, particularly the combination Sparrowhawk [name_u]Windsor[/name_u] for a boy.
@brittanyanitarose, gahh, thank you!!! These are all gorgeous! I love the idea of Sparrowhalk [name_u]Windsor[/name_u], and [name_u]Windsor[/name_u] is especially dashing in the middle spot. Alder, [name_f]Valen[/name_f], [name_m]Faust[/name_m], [name_u]Rain[/name_u], [name_u]Cedar[/name_u], [name_m]Wycliffe[/name_m], [name_m]Huckleberry[/name_m], Oaken, and [name_u]Finch[/name_u] are just incredible names!
I feel like there is a plethora of excellent nature and word names for boys out there, they just get so seldo ly used because people generally go more traditional or conventional when naming their boys.
If that’s the case, you might also like [name_m]Valiant[/name_m]. I have loved that name for so long and on our list we have [name_m]Valiant[/name_m] [name_m]Cassius[/name_m]. It is among our top three contenders for a son.
