I just posted a little bit ago with a poll about my girl name choices. The results were extremely helpful and right now we are leaning towards [name]Elisabeth[/name] [name]Caroline[/name] or [name]Mia[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]. [name]One[/name] of the things I’m worried about is if we choose [name]Mia[/name], are we limiting our name options for future children? If we have a boy, I think we will likely use [name]Grant[/name], and [name]Mia[/name] and [name]Grant[/name] [name]IMO[/name] sound great together. However, I can’t think of as many girl names that go well with [name]Mia[/name].
I may very well be completely over-thinking this, as I haven’t even had this baby yet, haha, but I had read on numerous naming sites that the name of your first child often sets the tone for the rest of your names.
[name]Just[/name] to ease my mind, which girl names do you think sound good with [name]Mia[/name]?
I think [name]Grant[/name] and [name]Mia[/name] sound good together! There is a bit more of a limitedness as its not a classic name; but I know two sisters named [name]Ada[/name] and [name]Mia[/name]. So it can definitely work!
I agree, [name]Mia[/name] and [name]Grant[/name] are great together! I think [name]Elisabeth[/name] and [name]Grant[/name] would be great, too. I think you could go in several directions with [name]Mia[/name]–I think [name]Ada[/name]/[name]Ava[/name] and [name]Mia[/name] are great, or even something like [name]Mia[/name] and [name]Luna[/name], [name]Mia[/name] and [name]Clara[/name], [name]Mia[/name] and [name]Juliet[/name], [name]Mia[/name] and [name]Violet[/name], [name]Mia[/name] and [name]Sophie[/name], [name]Mia[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Mia[/name] and [name]Olive[/name]… [name]Mia[/name] and [name]Tess[/name]?
Thank you both so much! This has definitely eased my mind! [name]Love[/name] [name]Mia[/name] and [name]Ada[/name] and [name]Mia[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name]! So cute!
I don’t think any name limits your options … it’s more of a matter of making the names work. If you use the name [name]Mia[/name], you will find a way to make an incredible sibset
[name]Hi[/name]!
We have a daughter named [name]Mia[/name]! She is our third of six and I’ve never worried about her name fitting in with any of the other kid’s names. I think, actually, that [name]Mia[/name] is one of the easiest names to “match”.
I understand your concern. Using such a short name may make it seem that all of the kids need short names. I see some people trying to match the number of letters or number of syllables but I think it’s silly. Style is more important
