If you actually had children, what would their names be?

Let’s say you have 3 kids two girls and one boy. What would their names be realistically? [name_m]Feel[/name_m] free to explain

Mine would be:
[name_f]Eira[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
[name_f]Eira[/name_f] is welsh (honouring my heritage) and means snow which I like and [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] is an honour name for my aunt julie and also juliet from [name_m]Romeo[/name_m] and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] because I love the subject english

[name_f]Catrin[/name_f] [name_f]Efa[/name_f] ‘Cat’
[name_f]Catrin[/name_f] is welsh also honouring my heritage and I think [name_f]Cat[/name_f] is a cute nickname. [name_f]Efa[/name_f] means alive which I really like, but [name_f]Efa[/name_f] is also a welsh boys name but I prefer it used in feminine names.

[name_u]Bowen[/name_u] [name_u]Troy[/name_u] ‘Bowie’
[name_u]Bowen[/name_u] is welsh and the nn [name_u]Bowie[/name_u] is one of my favourite artists. [name_u]Troy[/name_u] is a nice name and a cute tie to the greek legend which was one of my favourite stories when I was little

[name_f]Eira[/name_f], [name_f]Catrin[/name_f] and [name_u]Bowen[/name_u] :green_heart:

For a boy, [name_u]George[/name_u] [name_u]Edward[/name_u] [name_m]Hugh[/name_m].

For a first girl, [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] [name_f]Liv[/name_f].

For a second girl, I’d have a tough time deciding between my 2 and 3 spot girl names! She’d be either [name_f]Alice[/name_f] or [name_u]Florence[/name_u], with middles [name_f]May[/name_f] [name_f]Elspeth[/name_f].

Lol, I want two girls and one boy… I would 100% use the names I have now

[name_f]Theodosia[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_u]Lyn[/name_u], [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] [name_f]Valerie[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f], and [name_u]Archer[/name_u] [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u]

[name_u]Love[/name_u] this thread!

We already have a boy, M.axwell D.avis and I’d love a girl (or 2!) one day.

There are some names we both like, but I’m the name nerd and there are so many more I love or would consider using!

Realistically, we’d likely name one girl [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] because we both love it equally. [name_u]Max[/name_u] would’ve been [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] if he’d been a girl.

For the second girl (and thinking realistically again), we’d probably choose between [name_f]Nora[/name_f] and [name_u]Hazel[/name_u].

Right now, though, I’m really loving [name_u]Cleo[/name_u]. :star_struck:

Rn I’m really feeling [name_f]Bianca[/name_f] [name_f]Geneviève[/name_f], [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] Gisèle and [name_m]Freyr[/name_m] [name_m]Eldarion[/name_m]. But I would like 2 middles, so that I’m still not sure about. Maybe Rikardt/ Edward/ [name_m]Lars[/name_m] as a first for a boy name. Maybe switching up [name_f]Bianca[/name_f] and [name_f]Claudia[/name_f]. Really want to use Fleuriel as a middle for one of the girl names.

Realistically…

[name_f]Leonora[/name_f] [name_f]Christabel[/name_f] :sparkles: (yes, I know, my beloved [name_f]Leonora[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. But I needed an honor for my mom somewhere, and with [name_u]Robin[/name_u] I couldn’t exactly use [name_m]Christopher[/name_m].)
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] Glenrose :rose:
[name_u]Robin[/name_u] [name_u]Curtis[/name_u] :feather:

Completely realistically, if I had 2 girls and one boy today, these would be their names:

[name_m]Slade[/name_m] [name_m]Bjorn[/name_m] - First born sons in my paternal line have gotten either SB or BS initials going back many generations. [name_m]Slade[/name_m] is my favorite boys’ name and [name_m]Bjorn[/name_m] is cool and honors my [name_m]German[/name_m] heritage.

Maryelle [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] [name_u]June[/name_u] - Maryelle is my number one girls’ name and [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] and [name_u]June[/name_u] are honor names.

[name_u]Laurel[/name_u] [name_f]Sabine[/name_f] [name_f]Lynette[/name_f] - choosing a third combo was VERY hard! Realistically I could go with almost any of my female combos, but I chose [name_u]Laurel[/name_u] [name_f]Sabine[/name_f] because it has the most meaning. [name_u]Laurel[/name_u] has a personal connection to my birthplace and [name_f]Sabine[/name_f] is the name of a river in my state. I normally don’t do two middles, but I’d probably tack on [name_f]Lynette[/name_f] (or [name_u]Rae[/name_u] / Lyanne) to evoke one more person I want to honor, plus I did it for Maryelle so might as well squeeze it in for [name_u]Laurel[/name_u] too.

That is actually my ideal scenario  I want three kids.

DD1: Ursula Opal
DD2: this is the tricky one…I’ll say Lavinia Pearl
DS1: Isaac Bard

Kind of a mismatched set :face_with_hand_over_mouth: My girl names and boy names never match :woman_shrugging:

[name_f]My[/name_f] son is [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_m]Caleb[/name_m].

I would choose [name_u]Maria[/name_u], [name_f]Amparo[/name_f], and [name_m]Hamza[/name_m] :white_heart:

It would depend on the order they arrived in!

If the boy was first or second, it would be [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f], [name_u]Peregrine[/name_u], and [name_f]Cassandra[/name_f].

If the boy was last, it would be [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f], [name_f]Pandora[/name_f] and [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m].

(I just don’t want two initials the same haha)

I have a few ideas:
[name_u]Henry[/name_u] [name_u]Griffin[/name_u], [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Marina[/name_f], and [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Violetta[/name_f]
[name_m]Hal[/name_m], [name_u]Jet[/name_u], and [name_f]Rosie[/name_f]
[name_u]William[/name_u] [name_m]Alan[/name_m], [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Virginia[/name_f], and [name_f]Marianne[/name_f] [name_f]Estelle[/name_f]
[name_u]Will[/name_u], [name_f]Cara[/name_f], and [name_f]Annie[/name_f]
[name_u]Arthur[/name_u] [name_u]Robin[/name_u], [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] [name_u]Meadowlark[/name_u], [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_u]Dove[/name_u]
[name_u]Artie[/name_u], [name_f]Dottie[/name_f], and [name_u]Mattie[/name_u]

All firsts are just ones I like a lot with the first set being my longest standing favorites and the other two just being ones I think go together especially well. All the middles are honors/sentimetal in some way (first batch are more distant or abstract honors, second are direct honors, third are kinds of birds that give me warm fuzzy nostalgic feelings about the area I grew up in).

Already have the first two, and due any minute with the third!

  1. [name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_m]Donald[/name_m]
  2. [name_f]Annie[/name_f] [name_u]Marion[/name_u]
  3. [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Bess[/name_f] or [name_u]Nolan[/name_u] [name_u]George[/name_u]

Love your Welsh beauties :wales:

This is a fun thread!

So I already have a daughter named Lilia Elizabeth Ella. I’ve spoken about my daughter’s name many times but here I go my talking about her again! Lilia is an Ashkenazi name that honours my mother’s heritage, pays homage to my Grandma and me through our joint love of lilies and has this overall frilly princess aesthetic that I love. Elizabeth honours my Grandma and Ella honours my partner’s mother 0yella taking the ‘Ella’ bit of that name. So daughter number one has been named!

Looking at daughter number two I would name her Rose Leonora Mary. Rose honours my partner’s mother who has passed away and is a family name on the maternal side of my family which is another bonus. But I also do absolutely love Rose she’s romantic, floral and whimsical. Leonora honours Leonard/Leonardo which is a family on both sides of my family and I really love her. Mary is also a family name and I like how she sounds with Rose Leonora.

Then finally my son I would name him Malachi Christopher John. Malachi is my partner’s absolute favourite name and his love for the name has made me also love him. I had my wobbles over Malachi but I actually now feel completely committed to him he’s handsome, has a lovely meaning and feels strong. Christopher honours my best friend who passed away. John honours my dad.

Lilia, Rose + Malachi

Yes ! I like that dynamic two girls and one boy

I don’t know which daughter name I would use first but [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] [name_f]Bea[/name_f] . [name_f]Zoey[/name_f] because I think it’s strong but approachable, playful but not silly. Cute without being cutesy. [name_f]Bea[/name_f] because I find it very sweet and works well on its own as a middle name.

Other daughter [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] because I think they go well together and are my two favorite names.

For a boy I would go with [name_u]Reid[/name_u] [name_u]Milo[/name_u] again because I like the just a little different but familiar enough.
