If you could change your name to anything you wanted what would you change it to? I think I’d probably change my name to [name_u]Kit[/name_u] (short for [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] if anyone asked) [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]. But there are lots of other names I like too but [name_u]Kit[/name_u] [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] is my favorite. I’m genuinely curious as to what you all say. With love

I’ve thought about this before, and I think I would’ve liked being [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] instead of [name_f]Amanda[/name_f] [name_f]Janet[/name_f]. “[name_f]Amy[/name_f]” instead of “[name_u]Mandy[/name_u]” as a kid, but still “AJ” later in life. I’ve just never been fond of [name_f]Amanda[/name_f], but I really do like [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]. And I greatly prefer [name_f]Jane[/name_f] over [name_f]Janet[/name_f]. Not a huge difference, but still different enough, and the best part is I could’ve gone my whole life having never heard the [name_u]Barry[/name_u] Manilow song “[name_u]Mandy[/name_u]”

My name is [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] and I quite like it! I think I would definitely keep my first name, but probably change my middle to [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] after my grandmother. [name_f]My[/name_f] younger brother got a name (or variant) from each grandfather, so I think it would be nice to address the balance! [name_f]My[/name_f] parents also confessed that [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] was a very last minute ‘That’ll do’ name, rather than a thought out thing, so they would be that offended. The only issue is that my initials would then be PIS, which I’m not exactly keen on!

I was just wondering where you’ve found that [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] means storyteller? I ask because I love this meaning and it gives me an added appreciation for the name! I can only find ‘driftwood’ as its meaning, which is far less appealing!

I could really see myself as either [name_u]Skye[/name_u] or [name_f]Rayna[/name_f]. I’ve also considered [name_f]Laura[/name_f] or [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] for myself. I would probably keep [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] in the middle spot, or modify it to [name_f]Elspeth[/name_f].

I absolutely love [name_u]Kit[/name_u] and [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], I never thought about putting them together but it is stunning!!!
I would change mine to [name_u]Saige[/name_u] [name_f]Marina[/name_f]. just a prettier, more unusual version of my own name

I would change mine to pretty much anything on my top 100-200 name list haha If I would like it on my kid, then I would have also been happy with it for myself!
I think my dad said he likes [name_u]Lisa[/name_u], [name_f]Laura[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], [name_f]Emma[/name_f], [name_f]Sophia[/name_f], and other traditional [name_f]English[/name_f] names. I remember my mom said she liked [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]. Out of these, I would have been happy with being named any of them although I don’t really care for [name_f]Emma[/name_f].
I had once come across a piece of paper where it looked like my mom had written various name combinations to help her decide what to name me. Unfortunately, I don’t remember which names I saw on there to get a better idea of what name I could have ended up with other than [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], which they took a different variation of for one of my names. [name_f]My[/name_f] other name has a bad connotation to it now though I don’t mind or care.
My dad also told me that he wasn’t aware of name trends and that my name had been going down in popularity. I got the impression that he was trying to say they would have named me something else if they had known. Perhaps they would have gone for one of the other dozen of variations of my name that’s more modern and popular?
