I saw this post from last year in the Girl’s Thread and thought it was fun and really made everyone pick their favorite names.
If you could only have one boy and one girl what would their names be? Would you do multiple middles to fit in more name favorites? Go with an honor name?
Boys Name:
[name_m]Samuel[/name_m] [name_u]Dean[/name_u] (my son’s name).
If I couldn’t choose that for some reason:
My choice:[name_m]Gavin[/name_m] [name_m]Aaron[/name_m].
With husband involved: [name_m]Charles[/name_m] (unsure of middle name).
Girl’s Name:
My choice: [name_f]Rose[/name_f] (Maybe [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f])
With husband: [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_u]Rey[/name_u]
Probably [name_f]Apolline[/name_f] [name_u]Ever[/name_u] for a girl (my DD2’s name) and [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] [name_u]Lyle[/name_u] for a boy.
[name_m]Caspian[/name_m] is if my husband had no say, he’s iffy on it. Theoden (my son) would probably be [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] if he’d loved it enough. I love Theoden too, though, so it would be close between the two.
[name_f]Rosa[/name_f] [name_f]Lynette[/name_f]
>[name_f]Rosa[/name_f] is multicultural, classic-sounding, short but fiery, has [name_f]Ro[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] as nickname options as well. [name_f]Lynette[/name_f] is like an updated version of [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] as a middle name, plus I do like the idea of calling her [name_f]Rosalyn[/name_f] at times.
[name_m]Gerald[/name_m] [name_m]Edwin[/name_m]
>A strong name with Ger as a nickname, not very common anymore, but many Americans know of it. [name_m]Edwin[/name_m] is an honour name.
