If you could pick ANY name, what would you pick?

[name_m]Just[/name_m] something fun, for the ladies out there that have picky partners like me or are worried about what other family/friends/people might thing or maybe someone close has already picked your name…

If you could pick any name you wanted, what would you pick right now today?

[name_f]Aurora[/name_f]- my favorite. But put off by its increasing popularity and how people say its hard to pronounce
[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]- fiance doesn’t like
[name_f]Bluebell[/name_f]- people might think I’m nuts

[name_m]Archibald[/name_m]- fiance (and others) can’t get over the -bald part but I love the name
[name_m]Huckleberry[/name_m]- I’d get some weird comments, that’s for sure. And fiance thinks its slightly too out there. Working on getting it in as a middle though!

All my favorites though!!

[name_m]Jasper[/name_m] for a girl!

Girl: [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]
Boy: [name_u]Spencer[/name_u]

The first name would definitely be [name_f]Zoe[/name_f], but I’m not sure about the middle name. Either [name_f]Theophania[/name_f], [name_f]Artemisia[/name_f], or Scholastica.

If i didnt take into consideration any factors at all and hubby agreed id go with
[name_f]Elsie[/name_f]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f] but probably use [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f]
and [name_m]Gideon[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] and [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m]

I love nature inspired names but my partner is super traditional. Thankfully we have plenty of overlap in our taste but this is one aspect of my name preferences that will never see the light of day on a real kid! I don’t think they are too over the top or unusual but they were too much for him. Names I’d love to use:

[name_f]Autumn[/name_f]
[name_f]Calla[/name_f]
[name_f]Flora[/name_f]
[name_f]Fern[/name_f]
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f]
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f]
[name_f]Poppy[/name_f]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_u]Winter[/name_u]

I also loved [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] for a boy but my partner claimed this sound like a “hick name”…which I thought was insulting and made no sense! Oh well. We agreed on a fantastic name for my daughter that we both love.

Boy- [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u]
Girl- Thessalonica

I [name_u]Love[/name_u] the name [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u], and the first time I heard it was on a guy and I loved it! It sounded so handsome! But people obviously think it’s too feminine.

Thessalonica- There is a huge story behind this name, and it means a lot to me. Its a place name, but most people think I just made it up and its also quite the mouthful.

I have a passionate love for the name [name_f]Aster[/name_f] but my husband sees too much teasing potential. The same with [name_f]Salome[/name_f]. I also love the combo [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Magdalen[/name_f] but my husband has vetoed it as well. ugh!

Probably my number one girls’ name–[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]. Although I’m not sure I’d stick with my current mns for it ([name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]). It’s gorgeous, but it doesn’t seem worthy of [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], somehow. I’m really feeling [name_f]Adele[/name_f] and [name_f]Carolina[/name_f] right now, too, though, and I’m loving my [name_f]Carolina[/name_f] combo! [name_f]Carolina[/name_f] [name_f]Esther[/name_f] [[name_f]Lark[/name_f]/[name_f]Jane[/name_f]] “[name_f]Cara[/name_f]”.

I love [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] [name_m]Ignatius[/name_m], but I’d never be brave enough to use it.
